Festival of the Moving Image 2014 & 2015 - Head of Publicity (London, UK) December 2013 - March 2015

Led the Publicity team for the Festival of the Moving Image, an annual film student-run film festival. The 2015 festival attracted over 500 students and members of the wider public and was listed as one of Time Out London’s top film events of the week. Duties included:

• Recruiting and supervising the Press and Marketing team• Devising and effectively implementing PR and digital marketing strategies, including managing social media activity and

Pi Media: Pi Magazine - Lead Graphic Designer (London, UK) October 2013 - August 2014

Led on the design and layout for Pi Magazine, UCL’s official student publication. Worked with editors-in-chief to revolutionise the magazine’s brand identity. The rebooted magazine dramatically increased sustained readership on campus. Duties included:

• Designing and finalising each issue of Pi Magazine in Adobe InDesign; arranging flatplans; and creating style guides• Updating the layout/formatting of all the major sections of the magazine, including the cover. • Recruiting and organising student designers for the graphic design team; acting as a point-of-contact for design concerns• Producing, filming, editing and publishing Backstage Pass, a Pi Media online video series promoting performing arts at UCL.

Underbelly - Front of House Supervisor (Edinburgh, UK) July - August 2013

Supervised a 20-person Front of House team during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2013. The role of supervisor was offered after a strong performance as a regular Underbelly Front of House staff member in 2012. This involved:

• Training Front of House staff; co-ordinating staff members during venue builds and get-ins; supervising teams during shifts; organising staff breaks; monitoring staff well-being; anticipating and responding to customer access needs; and acting as a point-of-contact for any staff concerns
