Gods Extravagant Easter Blessings! Easter crowns our calendar with extravagant exclamations of Gods blessings. Because of Easter, death stands defeated and Jesus stands triumphant. Easter floods our lives with meaning, joy, victory, power, and perspective. Easter lets us know that God wins so our problems become manageable.

Gods extravagant Easter blessings at First Baptist included the largest attendance in our 185 years!

The Lord drew people to His precious FBC family. 2,446 attended our Bible Fellowship Classes. More than 3,000 came for worship. Ten wonderful friends chose to join our team. Lives were touched and transformed by the power of the Gospel!

Gods extravagant Easter Blessings started with the baptism of Hong Wang, a Chinese scholar who recently committed her life to the Lordship of Christ. She wrote to us: I am Hong Wang. I am so glad to become a Christian. I was born in 1966. I will go back to my motherland of China where I will believe in God and read the Bible. There is a church in my hometown of Wuhan City in Hubei province. I will go there for worship every Sunday! Additionally, Jeremi and Sherry Newkirk along with their daughter Jaide evidenced their faith in Christ through their baptism and declared their intent to be a family that follows Christ together.

Gods extravagant Easter blessings at First Baptist were completed by April McGhar-McCulloughs compelling testimony in the evening service about overcoming her addictions through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. April inspired and instructed us by transparently describing how Christ totally changed her and her family.

Gods Word declares, Taste and see that the Lord is good! (Psalm 34:5) This Easter and every day, the Lord tastes as extravagantly delicious as one of those Chocolate and Peanut butter Edible Eggs!

Enjoying Gods ExtravagantEaster Blessings Every Day,

CONNEC IONS from your Pastors Heart
