Woden Master Plan Main messages from Stage 1 Engagement:
• Improvement in parking, traffic and congestion
• Pedestrian and cycle connectivity
• Good facilities exist, but generally underutilised due to poor connections, lack of green spaces and poor public domain amenity
• The centre requires more vibrancy and activation, particularly after-hours and on weekends
• Generally good support for high-density, mixed use (but should contribute to public realm)
• Mixed views on:
Building heights
Future of the Athllon Drive corridor
Residential development in the Phillip service trades area
Mawson Master Plan Main messages from Stage 1 Engagement:
• The centre provides convenient shopping
• Looks tired, untidy and dated
• Public realm needs improvement
• Safety and night time lighting needs improvement
• Pedestrian and cycle connectivity needs improvement
• Improve traffic management
• General support for more residential and mixed-use development (outside of core)
• Mixed views on:
Future of Athllon Drive
Future of open/space/ovals
