We have tailor made solutions for our garland in-stallations including planting the ends of the bushy foliage in attractive planters. Our expert installa-tion teams can also hide any messy wiring by con-cealing battery packs in the planters or if using mains powered lights, a waterproof box can be concealed here with all the electrical components.

Our talented wreath and garland makers can create beautiful designs, using all types of winter greenery and can be as elaborate or as plain as you like. Real fo-liage can be used indoors and outside. Our real greenery is handmade on a farm to our specifications and may vary in ap-pearance due to the nature of natural products.

There is no better way to accentuate the lines of your property than with a string of lights fitted to the contours of your buildings. They frame your windows or rooflines and can be used to create a sparkly backdrop indoors or outside. Icicle lights, curtain and net ights are a popular choice and we have a range of options to choose from. We can also combine the lights with some greenery and create large swags of illuminated garlands that highlight

the grandeur of your building and accentuate archi-tectural features.

Our experts can also advise on the best fittings to use to attach to your building. This is vitally impor-tant for listed buildings and locations where holes cannot be drilled. We canwork safely at height using hi-ab crane lorries, cherry pickers or scissor lifts so the sky is the limit!

Uding cold white lighting, icicles and frosty twigs, a magical winter scene can be created that is so-phisticated for adults but will also delight children being reminiscent of a fairy tale.

Windows of this nature will take a little while to man-ufacture so please do not leave it to the last minute to allow fabrication to your exact measurements.

For the best results indoors we recom-mend the use of the Nordman Fir va-riety of tree, which has broader waxy needles and a first-rate ability to re-tain them.

We instal large trees for many church-es, cathedrals, hotels, restaurants and events, some with just lights and oth-ers with a full decoration service. Trees can also be snow flocked if required.

We can install trees with lights, and complement them with garlands, wreaths, and swags. Mantelpieces, banisters and door frames become warm and inviting when adorned with stunning fresh greenery and high qual-ity lighting.

For clients looking for a truly immersive magical experience we have delivered many Christmas themed displays. We have been commissioned to create scenarios using live trees to complete-ly transform otherwise lack lustre office spaces into dreamy winter wonderlands.

For the Ideal Home Show we flocked our massive trees with snow where they created a magical forest at the entrance to The Earls Court London and Event City Manchester Shows. Inside both shows trees were suspended from the ceiling of each vast hall.

For another client we even delivered hundreds of mini trees for employee’s desks, bringing a little bit of joy to each person and creating a sea of green in an otherwise fluorescent open plan office.

Every year Pines and Needles supply and install hundreds of display trees for councils, shopping centres, football clubs, restaurants, hospitals, churches, hotels and embassies as well as private homes.

We have nearly twenty years of experience installing and light-ing large trees. Trees up to 20 foot can be put up using sheer manpower alone but for any trees above this height we use a HIAB lorry with lifting equip-ment. Heavy duty civic stands are used for all outdoor trees and sandbags are used to se-cure the legs of the stand in the event of high winds. Guy ropes can also be used if there are available fittings/anchor points to add extra stability. Custom made boxes can be crafted to encase the stand in. order to make it visually more attractive.

traditional Christmas trees ideal For outdoor use

Norway Spruce (Picea Abies) are the traditional Victorian Christmas Trees. They have a fresh scent and elegant fine foliage. These trees are not soft to the touch and tend to drop their needles. They are ideal for outdoor use. For indoor use we do not recommend having a Norway Spruce delivered before 15 December.

non droP Christmas treesideal For indoor use

If your Christmas tree is going to be situated indoors then we strongly recommend a non-drop variety as opposed to a traditional Norway Spruce as they are far superior at handling warm indoor environments and can retain their needles for longer.

The Nordmann Fir (Abies Nordmanniana)This variety is the preferred choice of modern Britons as the needles are not pointy and the tree benefits from its ability to retain its needles even in very dry conditions. The tree has flattened nee-dles which are a glossy dark green on top with two blue-white bands of stomata below giving the Nordmann Fir its signature two-tone depth, like that of the olive tree.
