The race begins at 6 a.m. and will bring extensive road closures to the city, starting at 3 a.m. and lasting well into the afternoon. The race will bring rolling closures, meaning that roads reopen once the last runner passes through. Most of the downtown core will only be affected in the early morning, with the closed roads reopening quickly. Portions of Osos, Islay, High and Archer streets close at 3 a.m. and reopen at 2 p.m. The Highway 101 on- and off-ramps at Marsh Street will be closed from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. WHERE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT SUNDAY’S ROAD CLOSURES To find specific information about what areas of San Luis Obispo will be closed when, visit the race website at www.slomarathon.com.
