October Brings Cooler Weather
310 E. Tyler Parkway Payson, AZ 85541 928-474-3912 majesticrim.com
The Heartbeat of Payson, AZ >>>
Did You Know >>>
Feel the breeze, as the cool touch of fall approaches. Here in the Rim Country the tree leaves begin to turn from vibrant green to hues of red, olive and orange. The season brings a natural, yet beautiful scene along the Mogollon Rim and we are fortunate enough to reside in the most majestic location in Arizona. Residents, family and friends enjoy the view.
Whether you walk, hike or bike take a moment along your travels to look at the blessings nature offers and absorb its marvelous beauty. The changing of the leaves are found in every park, pasture, creek and hiking trail in Payson and these photos are right here at Majestic Rim Retirement Living. October is a month to celebrate and re-energize yourself. This month at Majestic Rim, residents, family, friends and staffers are encouraged to “Make a Difference” and VOLUNTEER where people’s days can be made better!
Thank you for enriching our lives every day!
That Ruth Wells- Miyamoto has a fond memory of growing up in Tombstone, AZ. She recalls living on the ranch as
Guided by goodness, loyalty, faith, and fun
a place where she hunted for Indian arrowheads and wondered who they belonged to and what was their story. On the warm days the family would make ice cream with an old crank machine and all the kids would take turns churning the mixture. “My favorite is caramel and vanilla,” as she smiled big. The family would eat ice cream and she would play her trumpet as loud as she could. The memories are fading as she chuckled, but she said, “Living here has brought so much more.” Cruising the ocean seas has been an adventure with her husband, Willie, who she met at Majestic Rim and found love all over again. “Life brings many blessings.”

The Rim Country Classic Auto Club the members cruised into our parking lot at Majestic Rim Retirement Living for an exclusive showing of their classic cars. The Show & Shine allowed our residents, friends, family and staff members the opportunity to get up and close to each one and talk with the owners. What a treat to reminisce about those days of riding in those vehicles we once owned, drove and cruised in the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. We are truly appreciative for the day’s activities including a fresh BBQ meal. Cristine helped man the custom “car grill” for the afternoon cook-off and everyone relaxed in the sunshine! Thank you for attending and we are glad you enjoyed yourself.

“Make A
Difference”
The month of October offers several opportunities to support a cause, increase awareness and most importantly, make a difference.
“Make A Difference” is traditionally recognized on October 24th, but at Majestic Rim we want to promote “Volunteerism” in our community, where we can actively help in a variety of ways, at different locations, serving many different people to make their day better.
The rewards of volunteering are vast. But Abraham Lincoln said it best, “He has a right to criticize, who has a heart to help.” I encourage you to find the heart to help, volunteer and be an advocate to make a difference and influence change for a better community and better world.
Call Majestic Rim Retirement Living to learn more about our volunteer project and let’s build a better community and share the joy of giving! Call Cristine at 928-474-3912 for more information.

nature lovers. Located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in California, visitors from around the world travel to experience and explore the scenic icons of Half Dome and the giant Sequoia trees. John Muir was the first to discover the exquisite meadows and streams throughout this mountain valley in 1889. Only one year later, Congress preserved 1,500 square miles becoming America’s third national park. Yosemite has become the backdrop of natural photographs by Ansel Adams most commonly photographed on black and white film. Today, over 4 million visitors arrive at Yosemite National Park for the majestic beauty, towering rock formations and grand waterfalls.
