What do Pharrell Williams, Kylie Minogue, Gwen Stefani, Jason

Derulo and Taoi Cruz all have in common, apart from being gorgeous, rich and famous singers? They all came to Doha to perform at the The 24th Men’s Handball World Championships 2015 at the beginning of this year!

Who knew that handball was such a big deal?! Doha was practically Tinseltown for a few short days as the A-Listers were spotted out and about around town after their surprise performances.

While the men were content to hit the hay after performing for the over-excited crowds, the girls explored Doha. Gwen

Stefani caused an Instagram frenzy when she was spied shopping in Doha. The No Doubt singer, who is also a fashion designer as well as a musician, got stuck into Qatari culture; not only did she visit the MIA Park Bazaar to pick up souvenirs for her friends and family, but she also collaborated with Qatar design team The Kayys (more on page

34). Pint-size Australian singer Kylie Minogue headed to Doha’s other cultural hotspot, Souq Waqif, to drink a pot of Moroccan tea and people-watch. Wearing a denim shirt and a black maxi-skirt, she looked quite at home exploring the labyrinthine alleyways of the souq. Which celeb is going to come to Doha next?!
