Follow these enrollment steps at www.jccc.edu

• If you don’t have your child’s username and password, call 913-469-2323 and ask for them

• Login to “MyJCCC” (upper right corner)

• Enter child’s username and password

• Click green “Add/Drop Classes button”

• Choose “Continuing Ed Classes 2015,” click on “Submit”

• Enter five-digit class numbers (found in youth catalog)

• Click on “Submit Changes”

• Scroll down to view classes

• Go to “My Finances” tab (bottom right)

• Click on Open My Finances

• If prompted enter child’s username and password

• Click on “Make a Payment”

• Click on “Make a Payment” a second time

• Select pay by term (Continuing Ed 2015)

• Click on “Continue”

• Select payment method

• Enter payment information

• Click on “Continue”

• Review and accept terms and conditions

• Click on “Submit Payment”

Emergency Contact InformationAll participants in Summer Youth Enrichment Program must have an Emergency Notification Form (ENF) and Computer Usage Form on file in the Continuing Education office no fewer than five days before the first class in which they are enrolled. Complete the forms by downloading them from the JCCC website at www.jccc.edu/youth. Fax the form to 913-469-4414 or mail them to Johnson County Community College, Continuing Education Registration, Box 62, 12345 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS 66210-1299.

Refund PolicyA refund will be honored if the cancellation request is received in the JCCC Continuing Education Registration office four business days before the class begins by calling 913-469-2323. The full refund policy is available on our website.

Student ConductOur policy requires that disruptive students be removed from class. If necessary, we will call parents for early pick up. Tuition refunds are not granted to students who are permanently removed from class.

Special RequestsJCCC is committed to providing assistance to those with disabilities. The Access Services office is located on the second floor of the Student Center. To request an interpreter, email and place “interpreter request” in the subject line or call using relay services. Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures For the safety of your child, all students 12 and under will need a parent/guardian to come in to drop off and pick up their child to and from the JCCC classroom he/she will be attending. There will be a sign-in, sign-out log you will complete. Call the student enrichment program at 913-469-4420 if you have any questions or concerns. Your child must be picked up promptly after class.

1. It is recommended that you arrive 10 minutes before your child’s class begins.

2. For course location, please visit www.jccc.edu/maps.

3. Look for staff to direct you to your child’s classroom where you will sign in your child.

4. Follow the same procedures for the sign out process.

Lunch and snacksIf your child is enrolled in a morning and afternoon class, please enroll him/her in the supervised lunch, regardless of age.

Students enrolled in supervised lunch and full-day classes must bring a sack lunch and a drink.

No students enrolled in our programs are allowed to be unsupervised on campus at any time.

Campus Dining Services are not available to summer youth participants.

Healthy snacks and water bottle (labeled with student’s name) are encouraged. Vending machines are off limits due to risk of losing money and unhealthy choices. Please do not send any snack or product containing nuts.

Get creative at the Nerman Museum!Art Classes for Youth Early Explorations classes (ages 5-7) and Contemporary Creations classes (ages 8-11) combine engaging, interactive tours with hands-on studio projects, and students explore different topics each week. Heartland Chamber Music Festival and AuditionThe summer festival is an exciting nine days of chamber music, orchestra, master classes, music history, student, faculty performances and more! Each summer advanced string and piano students, ages 12 to 24, are selected by audition to work one-on-one with internationally renowned faculty members who have gathered for the festival with the purpose of inspiring and nurturing students development. Ivan Chan and The Miami String Quartet will join us for a three-day residency. All performances are in Yardley Hall and room and board is available at Hawthorne Suites. Heartland Chamber Music Junior Festival and AuditionHeartland Chamber Music hosts six exciting days of chamber music coaching and chamber orchestra for selected string and piano students ages 15 and under.
