Please join us for a day of golf and camaraderie in memory of and to celebrate the life of Paul Maltagliati.

Paul, who passed the summer of 2012, was a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the Fairfax County Sheriffs Office and an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

Additionally, Paul was passionate about wrestling. As George Mason Universitys (GMU) first qualifier for the NCAA Division I Wrestling Tournament, he felt he could have grown even faster and more accomplished in the sport with additional support from an affiliated wrestling club. As he remained close to GMU wrestling after graduation, Paul recognized an increased need for an outside program as many college teams were being dropped. This spurred him in his last year of life to join forces with former wrestlers and coaches from GMU to form an organization, the Patriot Elite Wrestling Club.

The Patriot Elite Wrestling Clubs purpose is to support and encourage amateur wrestlers in the Washington, DC area, to cultivate their skills on the mat and pave a wider path for wrestling in the Northern Virginia area. The proceeds of the Fourth Annual Paul Maltagliati Memorial Golf Tournament will be used to support Pauls dream The Patriot Elite Wrestling Club, which is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization.
