GOD’S WORD.

The Christmas season in Asia is our largest regional outreach time of the year, where millions of children and youth hear the message of God’s Word. It has proved to be a unifying time for churches as they take the Gospel outside their walls and normal programming. This creative program invites children into the church to participate in a Christmas party, where they have the opportunity to learn the true meaning of the season. This Party Guide will train church leaders how to plan, host and promote these community events, as well as how to conduct follow-up and disciple new believers. We are planning to translate this program into a variety of languages to use throughout Asia Pacific.Budget Needs: $7,300

Christmas is a unique time of year in India when many non-Christians are curious about the meaning of the holiday. While it is widely celebrated, Christmas is secular and materialistic, with the message of Jesus Christ noticeably absent. This 48-page Book of Hope will share the story of Christmas with vibrant illustrations for India’s young people. Churches will be able to use this new resource to build on the success of their existing Christmas outreaches in both rural and urban areas, sharing the true message and hope of the season.Budget Needs: $17,500

This multi-product outreach capitalizes on the popular sport of Cricket to teach the Biblical meta-narrative alongside foundational sports skills. Developed in partnership with the International Sports Coalition, we are now ready to translate this popular program into the Hindi language to reach the children of Southern Asia. The 16-session program has been designed for children ages 9-12, helping them understand what a relationship with God looks like and teaching core Biblical values for their life. Products include: a Trainer’s Manual, Coach’s Manual, Athlete Skill Cards, and a Book of Hope. Budget Needs: $8,500

This new Book of Hope for African teens will present the Biblical meta-narrative, as well as bring Scriptural truth to bear on current “hot topics” for the continent’s young people. Teens will walk away feeling more equipped and inclined to search the Bible for life’s dicult questions, understanding through Scripture that God has power over life’s circumstances. Used alongside a teacher’s guide, this book will become a key program for our African ministry partners to use with teens in both urban and rural areas. The product will be developed in English, with the possibility of translation into Swahili to serve even more children and youth.Budget Needs: $14,000

In Ethiopia, a nation of nearly 94 million people, the Amhara ethnic group accounts for nearly 30% of the population. In this indigenous farming culture, children begin tending the family’s livestock from the age of 5 or 6, and have limited opportunities to go to school. While the majority of the Amhara people are Christian, less than 2% are Evangelical, and literacy rates are low for them to be able to read God’s Word for themselves. Translating The GodMan film into Amharic will enable Ethiopia’s young people to receive the Gospel message in their heart language, as they watch the life of Jesus unfold through live action and computer-generated animation. Budget Needs: $10,800

The Oromo people are the largest ethnic group in the landlocked nation of Ethiopia. A belief in one God, Waaqa, underlies their religious worldview, and has been syncretized with Islamic and Christian beliefs through the years. Speaking to the heartfelt needs of the Oromo children, The GodMan film will introduce them to the one true God—Jesus Christ. Translation of this film into Oromaic will enable more eective outreach to the young people of Ethiopia’s ethnic majority.Budget Needs: $10,800

This creative Scripture engagement and discipleship course has been designed to build Biblical literacy even for children who cannot read. Each week, children attend a club where they receive an illustrated card representing the Bible story they learn. When the 16 cards are put together in the right order and turned over, a picture on the back shows the meta-narrative of the Gospel and the child’s own place in God’s Big Story. Developing this program for the Middle East will enable us to reach children ages 6-12 in Egypt and Sudan.Budget Needs: $2,500

EVERY CHILD.

Our research reveals that Latin American teenagers often have a high level of knowledge about the Bible, but they don’t necessarily believe personally in Jesus. Young people in this region are creative, curious, and increasingly individualistic. This new edition of the Book of Hope will share with these young people that God is real, a redeemer, and relevant to their daily lives and struggles. The program will enable schools and churches to share with teens the personal impact the Gospel makes, and how to live out their new-found faith in Christ.Budget Needs: $15,500

Our research into the attitudes and beliefs of Russian young people shows that teens believe there is a God, but are confused about the simplicity of the Gospel. They view the Bible as an ancient book of fairy tales with nothing worth reading or thinking about. With deep emptiness and no sense of purpose in their lives, drug and substance abuse runs rampant. In response to this, we are developing a new edition of the Book of Hope that will emphasize the undeniable deity of Christ through his life, teachings and miracles. This 80-page digest size book will tie into online Scripture resources that oer answers to faith skepticism and the opportunity to make a life-transforming decision for Christ.Budget Needs: $14,000

Perhaps no part of the Gospel message is more vital than the fact that Christ really did rise from the dead. The Easter Edition of the Book of Hope emphasizes this truth for children and youth so they can embrace faith in the God who can truly save them. Our new Easter book will tell the story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection in a visually engaging way for primary-aged children in Europe. This contextualized book will be able to meet the heartfelt needs of the young people of this region.Budget Needs: $20,000

For generations, Albania has declared that God does not exist and raised its children and youth in the hopelessness of atheism and, increasingly, in the bondage of Islam. Less than 0.5% of the population in Albania is Evangelical Christian. Children who are being raised with no knowledge of the Bible need God’s Word in a format they can engage with, and in their own language so they can understand. We are translating the Children’s Edition of the Book of Hope into Albanian for the nation’s young people, and are working with our partners who plan to distribute the book through door-to-door evangelism and at outreach events.Budget Needs: $7,300

In this primarily Roman Catholic nation, the number of Evangelical Christians is less than 0.4% of the population. Croatia’s youth unemployment rate is also in the top 10 in the world. A history of conflict among dierent ethnic groups continues into the present day, and will likely aect the outlook and actions of many generations to come. Croatia’s young people need the freedom, love, and unity only the Gospel can bring to their lives. Translating the Book of Hope into Croatian will make a big impact. Working with our partners in the country, we are making this project a reality to bring hope to Croatia’s youth.Budget Needs: $7,300

The country of Greece is experiencing an economic crisis, and young people are feeling the eects. Suicide rates are on the rise among youth, as teens sense little hope for their future. The population is 98% Greek Orthodox, and believe that turning away from orthodoxy is a rejection of their national heritage. It is currently illegal for anyone over the age of 18 to evangelize to children and youth. We are stepping into this situation with the hope of God’s Word. This Book of Hope, designed for teens ages 13-18, will communicate the Scripture-rich Biblical narrative, showing that God is the one they can turn to as they face uncertain times. Budget Needs: $17,500

Our research shows that young people in Hungary have very little hope for their future, and children are being raised alone with no spiritual support. To address the hopelessness of this nation, we are dubbing The GodMan film into Hungarian. This animated portrayal of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection shares the Good News these children and youth need to hear that will bring purpose and joy to their lives.Budget Needs: $9,800

The crisis in Ukraine changes almost daily, with some now labeling the conflict an “all out war.” Patriotic young people are volunteering to fight on one side or the other, while some youth see no hope in staying and are attempting to flee their homeland. This country needs the hope of God’s Word! This new Teen Edition Book of Hope will be designed to address the needs of hopelessness, anxiety, fear, depression and other issues related to living in a state of war. We are working with our ministry partners in the nation to create a program that can eectively speak to the current experiences and culture of Ukrainian young people.Budget Needs: $17,500
