Brock Askew Eisenhower senior midfielder By far the Panthers' top offensive threat, the senior finished the season with 15 goals and 13 assists for 43 total points. He was an IHSSCA All-Sectional honor- able mention selection. Braedyn Ayers Southeast senior defender Helped a Southeast resurgence the past two seasons, earning an IHSS- CA All-Sectional honorable mention selection and finish- ing with three goals and four assists. David Biggs Lincoln senior defender/ midfielder Was one of two Railers to score double-figure goals with 10 — tied for the team high — and finished with two assists for 22 points. He was Lincoln's lone IHSSCA representative, earn- ing an All-Sectional honorable mention. Adam Bunch Rochester senior forward Found the back of the net nine times and assist- ed on 14 other goals and despite teammate Handlin's offensive showing this season, proved the Rockets had multi- ple players capable of scoring goals. Austin Kornack Springfield High senior defender Served two roles for the Senators. He was primarily in the backfield preventing goal- keeper Evan Wright from being peppered in the net, but when Wright was injured, Kornack tended goal with a 0.42 goals against average, 67 saves and 6½ shutouts. Zach Mizera Chatham Glenwood senior goalkeeper Was an IHSSCA All-Sectional goalie, recording 40 saves against 12 goals for a 1.1 goals- against average. Nick Metzger Chatham Glenwood senior defender Helped the Titans defend their home field with no losses in Chatham, going 8-0-1 on the season. He finished with five goals and two assists and was an IHSSCA All-Sectional player. Dalton Handlin Rochester senior midfielder While the Rockets graduated Austin Bell, who scored 40 goals and had 16 assists, Handlin stepped in to fill the void nicely. The CS8 Player of the Year was maybe the conference's toughest player to contain as he scored a CS8-best 45 goals and man- aged 13 assists and topped the conference in points (103). Was an IHSSCA All-State selection. Nash Oldenettel Jacksonville junior midfielder His 11 assists led the team, but he added six goals as well for 23 points. He put away two of his three penalty kick chances and had one game-winning goal. Jordan Pacha Springfield High senior midfielder Was versatile and capable of going forward to help the Senators' offense or going back and preventing deep pen- etration from many oppo- nents. Jack Sherrick Springfield High senior defender Had 10 points — four goals and two assists — for the Senators while playing a big role as part of SHS' defensive barrier. Logan Willard Springfield High junior forward Earned an IHSSCA All- Sectional berth with a team- high 36 goals. He added 10 assists for 82 total points this season. Mark Wilson Jacksonville senior midfielder Kicked one game-winner as part of his five goals but beyond the stats, his overall play got him recognized as part of the IHSSCA All- Sectional team. Anthony Petrilli Sacred Heart- Griffin senior midfielder Had six goals from his midfield spot as one of three Cyclones to score six times this season. Kelby Phillips Springfield High sophomore midfielder An IHSSCA All-Midwest and All-State selection, he broke the IHSA's career mark for assists in just his second sea- son with 93. And with 52 assists this season, he now has two of the top four marks in IHSA history for season totals. He still managed to score 17 goals for a grand total of 86 points this season. Alex Pratt Chatham Glenwood senior defender Helped a defense manage nine shutouts in 21 games and the team allowed just 19 goals all season. He finished with three assists on the season.
