call the SCC Box Office at
636-922-8050. Clybourne Park spans two generations 50 years apart. In 1959,
Russ and Bev are selling their house, unknowingly bringing
the first black family into the neighborhood. This creates some
discontent among the white residents of the neighborhood.
In 2009, the same property is being bought by a young white
couple, whose plan to raze the house and start again is met
with equal disapproval by the black residents of the soon-to-be-
gentrified area. Bruce Norris’s excruciatingly funny and squirm-
inducing satire explores the fault line between race and property.
This hilarious comedy features Eve, who lives over the Nice
People Dancing to Good Country Music Bar. She is paid a visit by
her niece Catherine, a novice nun who’s been asked to leave her
convent. It seems Catherine suffers from a curious compulsion
to yell obscenities at the wrong moment and even, on occasion,
bark like a dog. Roy, an honest if simple fellow from the bar
downstairs, wants to court Catherine whether she’s a nun or not.

Vladimir and Estragon, while waiting for someone called Godot,
play out the circular patterns of man’s life: they eat, argue,
make up, contemplate death, and meet/entertain others. The
simplicity and circular nature of the play’s structure and character
interactions reflect upon change, hope, the meaning of life and
intellect vs. the non-rational; nothing is completed, and anything
of substance is only found for our characters in the unity of time
and place in which they exist together.
The weird and wonderful family created by New Yorker cartoonist
Charles Addams comes to life in this zany musical comedy.
All the memorable “creepy and kooky” characters are there:
Morticia, Gomez, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday
and Pugsley, accompanied on stage by some of their deceased
ancestors. In this story, Morticia and Gomez Addams want to
continue living amongst death, pain and suffering as they always
have. But there is a change brewing.
Evening Performances: April 20, 21, 22 & 23 7:30 p.m.
Matinee Performances: April 2 10 a.m. April 24 2 p.m.
Evening Performances: July 26-30 7:30 p.m.
Matinee Performances: July 31 2 p.m.

the Cleveland Opera Company is poised to present the world-
famous tenor, Tito Morelli, as the lead in their history-making
production of “Othello.”
