Despite the fact that we booked your hotel on March 26, 2015, we learned on May 20, 2015, that Omni Richmond Hotel has unilaterally determined it would no longer honor its contractual obligations to our group for the 2015 FDA Regional Protection Seminar scheduled to take place August 10 - 14, 2015. It is apparent from our conversations and according to press articles; we are not the only group to suffer from the breach of the Omni Hotel's obligations under its contracts. It is apparent that the Omni has a contract with the Washington Redskins football team and the Redskin's change in schedule prompted these unilateral cancellations on your part. It is apparent that you and your organization value the Redskins football team's business to a point which exceeds the value you place on our organization and its business. Re:Letter of Agreement (contract) March 26, 2015

Reservations: August 11, 2015 through August 14, 2015

Dear Ms Turner:

Please allow this correspondence to recount the unfortunate sequence of events which had led to Omni's unilateral canceling of our reservations for the above-scheduled dates at your hotel.

It is a shame that you do not honor your contractual obligations

This is an important conference and affects not only the health and well-being of the citizens of the Commonwealth, but of the citizens of NJ, DE, PA, DC, MD, VA, WV, IL, IN, MI, MN, ND, SD, WI. Understand that, as of this point we have confirmed 45 reservations. These as well as other governmental employees have set aside time to make this important conference which involves protecting the public. Most of the attendees' expenses are funded by government entities. To the extent these funds cannot be refunded we will look to Omni for reimbursement together with other damages.

We are diligently working to find another location as should you. We hope this can be accomplished without any delay; however, we fully expect to be compensated under the contract for any sums we or our guests have incurred or will incur as a result of this intentional and unilateral cancellation on your part. Hopefully, you and your staff, who have created this situation will step up to the plate and take whatever steps are necessary to satisfy your customers.
