ENTREPRENEURSHIP MANAGEMENT: A Course Syllabus Course Code : Entrepreneurship Credit : 3 Units Nature : Major Semester / School Year : 1 ST Semester SY2015-2016 Faculty Member : Atty. Dennis Go Course Description : The course covers the nature & process of entrepreneurship. It deals with the decisions the entrepreneur faces in giving the venture a direction and the strategy it will adopt and the driving forces behind the venture. It is also concerned with initiation of the venture, the issues of attracting the financial and human investment that is needed to actually start up the business. It deals about the issues and decision that the entrepreneur must consider in successfully managing the growth of the venture and its essential consolidation. Options for growing the business, the issues that growth creates for the business, legal issues, leadership and motivations are also included as well as hands on training / applications. Course Objectives: At the end of the semester, the students should be able: 1. To learn the basic knowledge and competencies of becoming an Entrepreneur. 2. To develop the entrepreneurial ability and analytical mind for effective decisions making. 3. To be equipped with skills in Entrepreneurship. 1

◙ Course Description :

The course covers the nature & process of entrepreneurship. It deals with the decisions the entrepreneur faces in giving the venture a direction and the strategy it will adopt and the driving forces behind the venture. ◙ Course Requirements:1. Examinations (Preliminary Examination/Mid-term Examination/Final Examination/Final Product)2. Quizzes will be given at any time on the decision of the professor3. Class recitation/ other assignments/projects as given by the professor4. Eight (8) weeks Hands on application of the subject.
