Why do we like it? After all the construction team attended a session with us we have seen some great work going on in their moodle courses. We have highlighted the Diploma in Site Carpentry Level 2 course because it is user friendly, easy to navigate with plenty of variety in the resources they are using. We also like how they have used pictures of actual learners on the course, personalising the course is a good way of getting the learners interested. What is Capture An easy way for anyone to to able to create media, upload and share it privately or publicly using your Smart Phone, iPad, Tablets etc. Record yourself delivering a lesson, demonstrating different techniques (for example: a facial massage, assembling a cable, measuring a sash window etc)

How does it work? You create your video, upload it into MediaCore, located on moodle, click here to take a look, it’s like East Riding Colleges own version of Youtube.

Why would I find it useful? It’s a great way to allow your students to learn in their own time, at their own pace, Mediacore is easy to browse. You can ensure only your learners have access to your videos or you can go public, it’s up to you.

How can I find out more? Go to http://www.mediacore.com/tour to watch the short video or click here to download our how to guide.

It’s only easy if you know how!

We’ve added this section to provide you with a little tip each month which may help you save time with your every day IT tasks!
