Dear Parents, Welcome to 2014 at Mount Annan Christian College. Our Junior School staffare gearing up to welcome you all back to School very shortly. We are very excited to catch up with our wonderful students who have no doubt grown taller, lost teeth and collected many wonderful tales over their holiday break to share with us during the first days. I am writing today to fill you in on a few important procedures during the first day and throughout the first few weeks of Term 1. All students in Kindergarten to Year 12 will return to School on Thursday 30th January. To ensure a smooth start to the day, all students in Year 1 to Year 4 will line up in their 2013 class lines to begin the day in the JS Quad. New Kindergarten students will assemble in the Quiet Area under the shade sails. Your child will bring home a letter at the end of the day notifying you of their class and teacher’s name along with the location of their classroom. I would respectfully request that parents please wait for this letter to come home and do not remain around outside classrooms after students have left the Quad. Our aim is to settle students quickly and to give them every opportunity to transition to new routines as independently as possible.
