2014 Tatting Scholarship Fundraiser Quilts Please adopt a focal point block for the Quilt FV = Flowers and Vines. All the crazy quilt style blocks in 5 sizes have been adopted. Let your imagination run wild as you cover the seams and decorate the blocks with tatting and other embellishments. Let your thread complement or contrast with the colors found in the pieces of the block. Some of these pieces have come back already. See the potential layout scheme. However, there are 8 focal pieces for the quilt in the form of a large block. The background is all white. Using the theme of flowers and vines, the tatter is encouraged to fill the block, doily style with tatting, with a tatted collage, or a flower garden block. Please consider adopting one of the important focal point blocks. The Quilt T = Tatting, Tea and Toffee quilt still has 30 blocks to be adopted plus several sides and corner sets. The A blocks are 9"x 9" or 23 x 23 cm. There are solid color blocks and print blocks. Each block has a set of four corner blocks, block B 3" x 3" or 8 x 8 cm. You will have 4 corner blocks to decorate. Each C block is one of four side pieces, 9" x 3" or 23 x 8 cm. You will have a set of 2 side blocks to decorate. Choose, A, B or C or choose one of each! Martha Ess has provided the “Anything” Teapot pattern for us to use. For example. With the open center teapot, the print fabric will show through and add to the design.
