Songkran (Thai New Year) ‐ Tuesday, April 15, 12:00 ‐ 1:00 pm. Celebrate the Thai New Year with music, dancing, Thai food, and a special teacher‐apprecia on event. Come find Hamza or Raven in SYMR 202 to volunteer!
Women’s Self‐Defense Class ‐ Saturday, April 26, 12:00 ‐ 5:00 pm, Chestnut Hall 324. Learn how to defend yourself! Sign up in SYMR 202 by Friday, April 18. Make sure to wear clothes for exercise, such as a t‐shirt and exercise pants. Lunch will be provided. Sorry boys, this is for girls only.

Conversa on Lunch has been added to Conversa on Hour! The lunch is a me for students in Levels 0-2 to meet with
Americans. There will be games and snacks! This is a good way to make new friends, have fun, and prac ce your English!
Conversa on Lunch will be EVERY WEDNESDAY from 12:00 ‐ 1:00 pm
in SYMR 260.
There will be a TOEFL Test offered by IELI on Friday, April 18, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Level 6/6 can sign up during Week 4.
Level 5/5 or 5/6 can sign up during Week 5.
The cost for Level 5/5 and 5/6 is $32.
It is free for students in Level 6/6.

The Denton County Courthouse on the Denton Square invites all musicians to come and play from 10:00—12:00 pm
EVERY SATURDAY. If you play an instrument, then you can come and play along with American musicians!
