LAREDO IS THE LARGEST COMMERCIAL CROSSING FROM MEXICO INTO TEXAS.

As the largest commercial crossing from Mexico into Texas, Laredo allows millions of commercial vehicles to transport goods between our state and Mexico. It also serves as a key piece of the Texas land port network, which in 2015 accounted for $204 BILLION in trade from 2 million trucks and more than 3,600 trains.

Trucks, trains and pedestrians use Laredo’s bridges, creating healthy growth in trade that boosts the local economy and stimulates industries from retail to warehousing, and has helped build Texas into the nation’s largest exporter — and the world’s 10TH LARGEST ECONOMY.
