Fall is here and it’s one of the chambers favorite seasons! As we watch the leaves change colors and start thinking of the holidays, the staff and Board of Directors have the same initiative with forward planning for 2015. With help from our membership, the staff and Board of Directors are excited for our board retreat in November to plan another exciting year for our wonderful membership. Please continue to fill out monthly surveys and give feedback on what you would like to see your chamber to offer.

If you haven’t already signed up for our Speaker Series it’s not too late. We hope you don’t let this great opportunity pass you by! Seating is limited. Do you know someone or a business that has vested interest in our community? If so, nominate them for our annual Business Leader of the Year. This ceremony will be held on November 12, 2014. This event is dedicated to honor those who have made a difference in the community and/or the workplace.

The Chamber is excited to announce a new addition to the board of directors, Kyle Dunavant. Kyle is the Vice President of Marketing for the Hollywood Casino and Hotel. He has been elected to serve a three-year term.

We’re excited to welcome Kyle to the Board of Directors, where we be-lieve he’ll be a great input as we try to continue to improve the Chamber and how we can offer value to the community and our members.
