JACK LONDON VINEYARD Since our rst vintage from the Jack London Ranch in 1976 it has proven itself as an outstanding producer of exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon. Located midway up the Eastern anks of Sonoma Mountain it has a long mild growing season that creates fruit with complexity and balance. The inuence of the vineyard’s red volcanic soil and the fruity characteristics of the grapes combine to produce an outstanding, very distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon.
FROM THE WINEMAKERIn 2014, the historic California drought entered its third year and the exceptionally dry conditions concentrated the avor of the grapes. Harvest began on September 15th and was completed on September 24th. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel, and then aged in 75% French and 25% American oak barrels for 23 months.
