A highly anticipated speaker of The Healthy Living Expo is Dr. Robert Overholt, well known throughout the region as Dr. Bob from “The Dr. Bob Show”. Viewers have the opportunity to watch him twice weekly on WBIR-TV for information on various health topics.

Dr. Bob started an allergy practice in East Tennessee in 1970, the Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center. The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center is staffed by an experienced and caring team of multidisciplinary, board-certified specialists. All of their providers are dedicated to providing patients with expert and friendly care. Another division of the company is The Comprehensive Sleep Wellness Center, treating insomnia, RLS, chronic fatigue, and other sleep difficulties.

Recently, Dr Bob has launched a new video series - “Get Out and Play with Dr. Bob” - as a joint venture with Outdoor Knoxville to raise awareness about neighborhood parks and to address Tennessee’s rising childhood obesity epidemic. The series is presented by the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center, Knoxville Parks and Recreation, Legacy Parks Foundation, and can be found online as well as on WBIR-TV.
