EME 165 HEAT TRANSFER 2014 SUMMER SESSION II DESCRIPTION: This course will cover fundamentals of heat transfer: principles of conduction, convection, and radiation; applications of heat transfer to engineering systems; computational modeling and simulation to solve engineering heat-transfer problems. PREREQUISITES: C- or better in course 5 or Engineering 6 or Computer Science Engineering 30; C- or better in Engineering 103 and 105 LECTURES: MTWR 10 – 11:40, Young Hall, Room 184 INSTRUCTOR: Ralph C.
