I assisted various members of Citrix’s Marketing department with the design and layout of custom print materials while adhering to all visual brand guidelines. Production was notable for its rapid turnaround and international clientele.

Projects included were internal white papers, data sheets, and marketing collateral.

Occasionally I was asked to create or modify a custom project for an upcoming event. These projects often required significant creativity, not so much for the design itself, but rather for the actual production as many of the source files were often either lost or not immediately unavailable.

F5 iRules Conversion Service | Datasheet

citrix.com

F5 iRules Conversion ServiceCitrix® NetScaler® is the industry’s most advanced application delivery controller (ADC), providing the best application performance, availability and security. Upgrading from legacy load balancers to NetScaler solutions is typically straightforward. NetScaler AppExpert policies can be defined using easy-to-use drop-down menus and simple policy expressions. The conversion process, however, can pose greater challenges if the existing load balancer policy relies on complex, script-based configurations using vendor-specific syntax.

The F5 iRules Conversion Service converts existing ADC and load balancing policies implemented with F5® BIG-IP® and VIPRION® devices to an equivalent NetScaler AppExpert policy. The service covers all areas of ADC and load balancing functionality, including application firewall, application-layer content switching, advanced rewrite and response functionality and global traffic management across multiple datacenters. Citrix has years of experience converting F5® iRules® to NetScaler policies and has in-house expertise required to successfully deliver a converted policy. The conversion service is offered by Citrix Consulting Services, providing confidence that the new policies will work exactly as required. The service has fast turnaround times to ensure that project schedules can be maintained and duration and expense of conversions can be controlled.

Key benefitsTested NetScaler policy configurationsAll converted configurations are tested in-house to ensure the policy goals remain the same.

•Save time in migration•Minimize project risk•Streamline time to production deployment

Newspaper Advertisements

Collaborated with the Sales and Print teams of New Hampshire’s largest free paper to produce custom marketing and print campaigns for local businesses with a focus on modular design and seasonal flair.

Project Spotlight: Bunny’s SuperetteWith some basic research, an on-site visit during a lunch break, and some basic photo montaging I was able to transform a static black and white text ad into a visually rich and engaging ad series that accurately showcased the business (and its fantastic, yet largely unknown butcher shop) that ran for months even after I had moved on.

Various

What started with a logo design for a computer repair service parodying another well known company of “Geeks,” quickly evolved into a full re-branding resulting in a company-wide reassessment (seniors & low income, assistance through education) that continues to this day.

Page Layout & Design

Print / Interactive PDFs

As a freelance designer for Kobold Press I was responsible for the Design & Layout for the Divine Favor PDF series as well as all image acquisi-tion (except the cover art). Operating on a shoestring budget with a tight turnaround, I developed a series of Photoshop batch actions to transform creative commons engravings into illuminated waterfall color prints that was received with great popular acclaim from a famously fickle audience.

Established Legendary Games as a premier third party publisher for the Pathfinder Role-Playing Game system though the creation of a strong visual brand focused on aesthetics, verisimilitude, and production quality. Personally responsible for the design and layout of the ‘Gothic,’ ‘Imperial,’ ‘Ultimate,’ and ‘Mythic’ product lines as well as the ‘Conquering’ re-branding/redesign.

Project Spotlight: Ultimate Plug-InsThe ‘Ultimate’ series represented a major step forward for Legendary Games in terms of both length and depth. It also was the first project in which I was able to collaborate with the artists from start to finish on custom requests and our customer base (more specifically our bottom line) surged in response to the increased overall dynamism in our brands look and feel.
