NEW! Powerful Healing Tools: Medicinal Herbs, Homeopathy and Flower EssencesAs an introduction to the use of medicinal herbs, homeopathy, and flower essences, this course will expand your understanding of an array of effective holistic approaches to healing and health. The use of medicinal plants pre-dates recorded history and is practiced in every culture around the world. Homeopathy and flower essences are considered “vibrational medicine.” They are highly diluted substances, which make them non-toxic. They trigger the body’s natural systems of healing. Homeopathy has been practiced for more than 200 years to address specific symptoms, and it is based on the “law of similars” (like cures like). The founder of flower essence therapy, Dr. Edward Bach, was a pioneer in understanding the connection of emotions with physical health. Flower essences treat the underlying emotional causes of disease. Instructor: Candice Chaffee. Class notes: 6.5 contact hours awarded to nurses, professional counselors/clinical counselors, and respiratory care technicians.

The Universal Family Flag (TUFF)Louis Thomas created the first and only registered universal family flag and universal symbol for family and marriage. Thomas and his family offer the “TUFF Pillow” which displays The Universal Family Flag (TUFF) logo. TUFF also stands for True Unit For Family.“Family and marriage is the greatest form of government in the world based on love,” Thomas said. “This idea came to me in a dream in 2007. Our goal is to make this symbol and brand the most recognizable symbol in the world. We are beginning with pillows because this is something that we can do as a family to create a viable home based business and brand that will become a global product line that we will eventually license.” The Thomases can customize the TUFF pillow for any occasion and color scheme. They recently launched a school spirit line with pillows and throw blankets in school colors. They also will embroider names, slogans and school mascots. “There is almost nothing that we can't do,” Thomas said.
