Gives you the chance to get to know the COISA board Can earn points
◦ Points can be used to earn prizes from COISA◦ Points can increase your chances of becoming a COISA board member
“When I joined COISA, it was still growing and finding its stable grounds. But soon, more and more people started knowing
COISA and thus were willing to participate in the events. As COISA always needed
volunteers during its events like COISA cup, World Unity Fair and the Talent Show,
having a dedicated team of volunteers for COISA seemed to be a good idea…having a team of volunteers gives us a lower limit to the number of people that will be available
for help during the event.”
Gunjan Mahindre, previous Active Member

“As an active member: Adding the title of "Active member" not only gives them a place in the team they always wanted but also motivates the member to work actively! Although I wasn't a part of the committee, I got to participate in every decision the team made as we discussed our issues and plans during weekly meetings. Every member takes a piece of responsibility. It wasn't just plain work but together, we also appreciated the efforts everyone put in despite their busy schedules.”
“I am truly honored to have participated in COISA for a year and a half. I've come to learn and enjoy the companies of all members and assistances from the many different offices on campus who strive to connect the diverse organizations together. My transition from being a active member to a COISA Officer helped me develop roles of responsibility, flexibility, punctuality and the unique characteristics I have. I caor come to discover in creating harmonious relationships towards a more peaceable world through the understanding of Diversity. ”
