Flame Felt Lining - Precision blend of Kevlar Para-Aramid and carbon fibers provide excellent mechanical and heat resistant properties in the form of technical felt.

Pillow Cushion 2 - Footwear cushioning designed to provide maximum anatomical support and comfort with an internal polyurethane midsole that cradles a dual density memory foam footbed.

Kevlar® Stitching – The strength of Kevlar® thread provides flame and heat resistance.

ADDED BENEFIT ICONS

Electrical Hazard - (EH) Footwear tested by an independent lab that can withstand applications of 18,000 volts at 60hz for one minute without leakage.

Electrostatic Dissipative - (ESD) Footwear absorbs and neutralizes loose electrons, sending charges into the floor.

Steel Toe - Footwear that meets or exceeds the ASTM Standards for compression and impact testing rating of I-75/C-75.

Composite Toe - A Non-Metallic Safety Toe for environments where steel is not appropriate. Reduced cold-transfer in cooler environments and meets the ASTM Standards for compression and impact testing rating of I-75/C-75.

Metatarsal - Internal MetGuards provide flexible protections and increased comfort. In addition, External Metguards are also available on select Carolina styles.

Aluminum Toe - Weighs less than steel and meets the ASTM Standards for compression and impact testing rating of I-75/C-75.

Carbon Composite Fiber Toe - A Non-Metallic Safety Toe option. Carbon fiber weave reduces toe cap weight while maintaining strength to meet the ASTM Standards for compression and impact testing rating of I-75/C-75.

Return PolicyUncompromising quality in every product is the goal of Carolina. It is our intent to evaluate all returned goods with the purpose of fairness in mind. Only those shoes returned for inspection which obviously fall outside the reasonable criteria of defective workmanship and/or materials will be denied credit. Accordingly, all footwear returned for credit will be treated in one of the three ways:

1) Full Credit (Credit will be based on last purchase price unless invoice or PO# is provided.) 2) Half-Credit (Credit will be based on last purchase price unless invoice or PO# is provided.) 3) Zero Credit* (*Zero credit footwear will be returned to sender upon request.)

Please include Return Freight Receipt with package to insure proper freight credit.

Stock ReturnsTo obtain credit for the return of new merchandise, including special orders, the dealer must promptly seek a Return Authorization number (RA#) by contacting Customer Service via the telephone within 30 days of shipping. The RA # must be displayed on the exterior of each carton for proper processing. Failure to do this may result in refusal of the shipment, making the dealer liable for freight charges. A $4.00 per pair restocking fee applies to returns of new non-defective merchandise. If there has been an error in the shipment of goods Customer Service will authorize the return of new merchandise and will issue the dealer an RA #. If the dealer is requesting a return of more than 6 pair of new non-defective product, the request must be made directly to the dealer’s sales representative. Upon receipt of authorized stock returns the dealer will be credited the last purchase price plus, on defective returns, the amount expended on freight. Any footwear purchased at special program or closeout prices will be credited at that amount. If the dealer ships goods to Carolina without first obtaining an RA # from Customer Service the shipment is subject to refusal and will be returned at the dealer’s expense.

Worn/Damaged Goods.In the case of damaged footwear that has been worn, Carolina will credit the dealer’s account with Full Credit (100%), Half-Credit (50%), or No Credit (0%). Please refer to the chart below for descriptions on the three levels. The Quality Control Department of Carolina determines this allowance based on the estimated normal wear (exclusive of defect) remaining in the footwear when returned.

Credit will not be allowed for footwear returned if legitimate defects could not be found in workmanship. A letter will then be issued to the dealer stating “no credit.” Worn “no credit” shoes will be destroyed unless the dealer has specifically requested a return at the dealer’s expense.

No Credit (0%) -Sole and or upper showing extensive, excessive or abusive wear -Sole or upper cut, punctured, or showing excessive abrasion and stiff upper, due to leather being wet and dried too rapidly. -Excessive chemical/acid splash or burn -Hard abuse of the productHalf Credit (50%) -Obvious defects but clearly the boot has been worn for a whileFull Credit (100%) -Obvious defects showing some wear but in good condition

Footwear not purchased from CarolinaAny merchandise received that was not purchased from Carolina will be returned to the dealer and shipping costs will be charged to the dealer’s account.

FREIGHTReasonable return costs for freight on defective merchandise will be credited if the dealer provides the carrier receipt for the amount expended by the dealer to return. NEW Defective merchandise is subject to return costs for freight (as detailed above) as well as the dealer’s inbound cost per pair of the dealer provides the original order or invoice number on which the defective merchandise was purchased. WORN Defective merchandise is subject to return costs for freight (as detailed above) only.

Consumer Return Policy StatementH.H. Brown Shoe Company, Inc. produces quality footwear that serves many different purposes. We stand behind the products that we produce. At times, despite our best efforts to assure the best quality, a product purchased from a retailer may have a defect in materials and or workmanship as there are many components and processes that go into footwear manufacturing.

If a consumer believes that a manufacturer’s defect has caused unusual wear or otherwise affects the use of the footwear, we require the consumer to return the footwear to the retailer where the footwear was originally purchased. The original selling retailer has its own policies and processes in place to satisfy the consumer including an initial inspection for normal wear. In the event that the selling retailer can not reasonably satisfy the consumer, that consumer may then contact the brand manufacturer. If someone other than the original purchaser contacts or attempts to contact H.H. Brown Shoe Company, Inc. or any of its divisions or affiliated companies, it will be necessary for us to receive the appropriate written authorization from the original purchaser authorizing H.H. Brown Shoe Company, Inc. to discuss the matter with the representative and to deal with the representative in resolving the matter.

H.H. Brown Shoe Company, Inc. requires that a consumer have the original sales receipt within one year of purchase and can identify the retailer that the footwear was purchased from. We may use reasonable efforts to contact that retailer on the consumer’s behalf to ensure full satisfaction. In the event that this is not possible the consumer may choose to return the footwear to us for inspection. If a determination is made that there is in fact a defect H.H. Brown Shoe Company, Inc. has, at its option, the right to either repair, credit in full against the purchase of inventory currently in stock at MSRP, prorate the value of the original purchase, as appropriate or replace the footwear with the same or comparably valued footwear. If no defect is apparent the inspected footwear will be returned to the consumer.
