HISTORY OF PRESENT ILLNESS6 months PTC patient noted an enlarging mass, 4x4cm, on her right popliteal area, associated with pain on right knee, temporarily relieved by pain relievers. No consult done.
1 month PTC consult done at private physician and advised for ultrasound of the right popliteal area. ULTRASOUND OF THE RIGHT POPLITEAL AREA (12/23/2013)There is a cyst lesion measuring 4.6 x 2.9 x 2.5cm seen in the right popliteal area. There are thin septae noted within. No solid component detected. The rest of the surrounding structures are unremarkable.
