Dear Friends & Family, The Montessori School of Bowling Green (MSBG) is a 501(c)(3) organization devoted to the Montessori philosophy of education. MSBG was founded in 1980 under the name The Nazarene Montessori School. A full-day option for kindergarten was added in 1986. In the spring of 1990 the school’s name was changed to The Montessori School of Bowling Green to better reflect the programs and services being offered. That fall, the elementary and extended-day programs were opened. Today MSBG has an outstanding staff which includes an Executive Director, Associate Director, Advancement Director, Business Manager, AMS Certified Teachers, Education Aides, Before and After School Care Workers, Physical Education, Art, Foreign Language, Band/Music Instructors, a Speech Therapist and Intervention Specialist all bringing about a positive impact on well over 4,200 children since 1980!

Mission: The Montessori School of Bowling Green is a nurturing community that educates the whole child in a Montessori environment, where children develop mutual respect, personal responsibility,

and a passion for learning.

"I try to always be kind and polite to others even when we don't get along and I'm highly motivated to both work hard and lead my peers. I loved being able to work at my own pace at MSBG and that benefited me long term." - Emily Myerholtz

Our programming of-fers art, music, physical education, world lan-guage, cultural sci-ences and a tailored math and language cur-riculum where each child’s ability is met and challenged.

Our international, diverse population replicates a global society and challenges children to be successful in

today’s world.

“What I remember the most about my experiences at the Montessori School of Bowling Green was the feeling of family."

- Nicolas Cabanillas
