opportunity for highly engaged
students to apply their classroom
learning to situations affecting an
actual firm. Competitions also
challenge students to work under
pressure and develop strong
presentation sills.
MBA Venture
Challenge
Capstone
Consulting Project
In partnership with the Center for
New Ventures and Entrepreneurship,
Venture Challenge is an opportunity
for MBAs to work in teams to
evaluate all aspects of a startup
business. Teams present an unbiased
valuation of the startup firm to a
panel of business professionals.
The Capstone Consulting Project
takes place in the final term of the
MBA program (Term 5). Working in
teams, students apply knowledge
and skills gained in the program to
solve a real-‐world business problem
for an actual client. The project
allows students to increase their
work experience prior to graduation.
