Dear Sponsor,

We would appreciate your time in reviewing this letter and your consideration for supporting our youth soccer development program.

TAHUICHI comes from the Bolivian dialect Quechua. It means “Bird That Flies High”.

Tahuichi F.C. is a non-profit program, run by dedicated volunteers, with the purpose of providing kids with top quality soccer training and personal skill development while reinforcing that school and good grades come first. We help kids develop the needed skills to ensure that they are successful student athletes.

Founded in September 2007, Tahuichi F.C. has enjoyed great success in developing players of all abilities. Our success in the men's league has inspired us to share the values of our club with younger players. We recognize the utmost importance of their primary roles as students and have always maintained academic requirements of our youth teams. We wish to instill a sense of pride in our youth players in both their growing soccer skills, as well as their high academic achievements. Our number one priority for the players of our club is to see that they achieve and maintain high grades in school.

We feel that athletics and academics go hand in hand, and that the dedication they show on the field must be mirrored in their schoolwork. EDUCATION is a tool that they will carry with them far beyond their years as soccer players, although we do hope to see their love of the game be a lifelong affair.

Our staff are volunteer coaches with licenses from National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and U.S. Soccer Federation. We are a sanctioned club by U.S. Club Soccer #6526 and NorCal Premier Soccer League.

We work with children, ages 2 to 19. We offer the opportunity to be part of a serious, committed, and competitive club without the monthly or coaching fees. We encourage, motivate and support our players, both on and off the field. It is through the generosity and cooperation of our sponsors in the form of both monetary and in-kind donations, reduce field rental fees, that help us provide top quality soccer training to our kids at a high competitive level at a fraction of the cost of any of our private clubs in Sonoma County.

As a club, we also recognize the financial difficulties that many families face. We do not wish to see any child denied the opportunity to practice and play this amazing game due to their family's financial situation. Therefore, TAHUICHI F.C. works closely with our sponsors to see that no child is turned away from this club. Thank you for your consideration. Tahuichi F.C. Youth Soccer Program’s success depends on the generosity of donors

and volunteers. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at [email protected] or directly at 707-695-3323. Please visit our website at www.fctahuichi.com.

Very Truly Yours,

Jose Espinoza, Director

TAHUICHI F.C. was founded on September 1, 2007. We has been participating in the Over 30 Men's League of Sonoma County (SCSSL) . From the start we found success immediately as the Division I champions in our very first season. This collection of different players and their collective abilities is what makes TAHUICHI F.C. stand out from other teams in the league. The club strongly supports diversity amongst its players and strives to bond an array of teammates through this beautiful game. We have participated in tournaments in Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, Manteca and Santa Rosa, and we have also played with first division open league teams from the San Francisco Soccer Premier League, where some of our players currently play.

Our youth soccer teams have succeed in outdoor play and well as in indoor soccer leagues: All of our teams play in NorCal Premier Soccer League, the most competitive league in California. We also have 8 players trying out for a top PDP (Player Development Program) which opens doors for State, Olympic and National teams. Developing soccer players... Reinforcing school performance.

Our success in the men's league has inspired us to share the values of our club with younger players, and that is how we have come to establish the U-8 , U-10, U-12 Boys and Girls teams. They played indoor soccer at Sports City in Santa Rosa and outdoor play with Santa Rosa Youth Soccer League (recreational) and Santa Rosa South (competitive). For the younger players, we recognize the utmost importance of their primary roles as students and have always maintained academic require-ments of our youth teams. We wish to instill a sense of pride in our youth players in both their growing soccer skills, as well as their high aca-demic achievements.

“Our number one priority for our players is to see that they achieve and maintain high grades in school.” OUR OBJECTIVE The TAHUICHI F.C. Youth Soccer Development Program, in cooperation with our sponsors, will provide top quality soccer training and personal skill development while reinforcing that school and good grades come first for our soccer players.

PLAYER COMMITMENT Each player will be able to participate in the club at a full or low cost to NO COST, under the condition that high grades are maintained in school (an average of 80% or higher is required of all club players.) We have an e-mail system to check grades monthly with each participant teachers at their respective schools. COACH COMMITMENT Our coaches and staff work to encourage, motivate and support the players of TAHUICHI F.C. on and off the soccer field. Individual-ized practice and playing structures are created for each player as

to develop a solid base for their soccer future.

TUTORING PROGRAM We are proud to offer a tutoring program for school work. We have volunteer students from SRJC and Sonoma State that will offer their knowledge and time to help our players in school homework, tests and projects. This will give an extra boost to our players success in the classroom. TOP GRADES CHALLENGE Our club will host a TOP GRADES CHALLENGE to all of our boys and girls teams. The team that achieves the highest combined grade point average among all of its players will win a trip to SCANDIA! Each player from the winning team will receive tokens to play games and win prizes, eat pizza, ice cream and drinks, and hold the title as the season’s top grade achievers!

We do not wish to see any child denied the opportunity to practice and play this amazing game due to their family’s financial situation. Therefore, TAHUICHI F.C. works closely with our sponsors to see that no child is turned away from this club. We make no profit. We are all VOLUNTEERS. Our commitment is as strong as to make a safe and fun environment for any child, while we develop soccer skills and reinforce school performance. We need funds or gifts for the following programs: FIELDS, FIELDS, AND FIELDS— We wont be able to teach if we don’t have a place to teach. Although we have some fields for our use, the continue growth of our program requires us more fields. As a club we have volunteer parents that under supervision can help maintain the fields. We paint goal posts, mow grass, replace sprinklers, fertilize grass.
