We invite you to participate in a fundraising plan to help support the Damonte Ranch High School

(DRHS) Band program in its quest to provide students with unique and meaningful learning experiences

through music performance. It is our belief that students need opportunities to develop leadership,

character and other skills for successful futures as an adult member of our society. The band program is

more than a fun activity for high school students. Music education plays an essential role towards the

development of future leaders and responsible citizens in our community. Your support of the DRHS Band

program is not only an investment in our youth, but also an undeniable investment in our future.

We have pledged to support those goals, but we cannot do it alone. With continued budget cuts, increased

transportation and fuel costs, and instrument shortages, the DRHS Band program needs your assistance

more than ever. We are asking for your monetary support. In return we can offer you or your business an

attractive marketing package that will reach thousands of individuals. In addition to advertising and

yearlong exposure, you will have peace of mind that your dollars are going to support a group of over 130

students at Damonte Ranch High School. Funds will be deposited directly into the DRHS Band account.

To help in your decision as to how much to support our program we have included an outline of how the

DRHS Band Boosters provide support for the program and an overview of the scope of our band program.

We also encourage you to support the band by attending the numerous activities that we participate in. The

calendar of our performance and rehearsal schedule, as well as this brochure, can be easily found at our

website, www.drhsband.org.

Damonte Ranch High School Band Boosters

Booster fundraising efforts provide transportation costs to festivals and performance events, registration fees, uniforms, food during band tours

and home football games, equipment for numerous performing ensembles, scholarships, adjudication fees, financial relief for families, event planning & management. The Boosters also provide volunteer support and good old

manual labor. The Band Boosters have made large one time purchases such as trailers to transport uniforms, instruments and equipment.

Band Overview

The DRHS Band consists of a number of different performing ensembles, each with their own schedules, needs and values. The Band’s performing

ensembles at DRHS include Marching Band, Color Guard. Jazz Band I & II, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, Winter Guard, Winter Drum Line, Symphonic Orchestra, Basketball Band and various

smaller ensembles, including a pit orchestra for our annual musical.

Public Performances and Your Sponsorship

The number of performances for the various groups within the band total over 40 per year and occur during every month of the school year. In

addition, our band trailers are present and visible at festivals and competitions in Nevada and throughout the entire Western United States.

The Marching Band performs at all home football games, where we announce all sponsors. We create in-house printed programs for all of our

home concerts and have a sponsor page with links on our beautiful website, www.drhsband.org. The Damonte Marching Invitational, held annually in

October, will draw thousands of eyes to your company name.
