SERMON NOTES

“You Want Me To Do What?!”

Pastor Gary Russell Matthew 7:12

Visitors - We are so glad you’ve come this morning to

seek the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together with us. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card in the worship folder. After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.

Church Life

Benevolent Offering The Board of Deacons will be receiving a benevolent offering in the foyer at the conclusion of each of today’s services.

Prayer Ministry At the conclusion of today’s services, our Elders will be available to pray with those who are dealing with health needs and other life challenges. They will be available at the front of the worship center.

Child Dedications Please contact Pastor Russell if you would like to discuss or schedule the dedication of your children during an upcoming worship service.

Window Shades Our new “building completion project” is funding for roller shades for the worship center’s windows. Gifts for this project should be designated “Windows” on your weekly offering envelopes.

fantastic opportunity. We need host homes to house the children and their leaders, people for product sales, unloading and loading the bus, advertising, and ushering. Sign-up at the Information Center to volunteer.

Adult Ministries Adult Sunday School class Student Center

"Free". Yes, the cost is free, and the class is called "Free". This is a refreshing and liberating study on Romans 5-7 presented by Andy Stanley. A key verse is “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate, I do. …For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out” Romans 7:15, 18 (NIV). We know you want to come to the class, so do something good for your soul and come to this class...we know you can carry it out.

Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministry Library Women’s Ministry invites you to look through the selection of books in their library, located in Classroom C, and take something home to read. Thank you to everyone who has donated books. Please be advised that they are not accepting further book donations at this time. If you have any questions, please contact Kelli Mathias at 715-483-9719.

Missions

Watoto Children’s Choir Friday, May 30 | 7:00 p.m.

Once again, we are hosting the Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda, Africa for a concert. Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled internationally since 1994 as advocates for the estimated 50 million children in Africa, orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war, poverty and disease. Accompanied by a team of adults, the choir presents Watoto’s vision and mission through their stories, music and dance. Watoto choirs act as ambassadors to raise awareness about the plight of the orphaned and vulnerable children of Africa. This is a concert you will want to invite your friends, family and neighbors to. We need volunteers to help with this
