What is ClubGolf?

Where did it all start?

ClubGolf was a key component of Scotland's successful Ryder Cup bid in 2001

• Piloted in 2003

• Launched in 2006

• Funded by the Scottish Government through sportscotland – national agency for sport

Our vision

• By creating opportunities for every child in Scotland to access golf, encouraging them to become part of our sport and developing their potential as they progress, we will lay strong foundations for the future health of our clubs and for Scottish performances on the world stage.

1. The opportunity for every child in Scotland to experience golf by the time they are 9 years old

2. More children playing golf and more active junior golf club members

3. A large pool of well coached young golfers from which more talented players will emerge

4. A quality coaching workforce at the heart of junior golf in Scotland
