The condition for beginning of an entrance procedure is submission of a completedelectronic application form for the university studies in a set term and with allnecessities. The application form for the studies can be only submitted electronically,paper application forms will not be accepted for admission for the academic year !!!

The application form for university studies can be filled in at the internet addresshttps://prihlaska.cvut.cz. It is necessary to enclose a proof of paymentof the non-refundable administrative fee or a proof of transfer of the fee onto Facultysaccount for the tasks connected with the entrance procedure of CZK 500,-. An applicationwill not be registered without a proof of payment of this fee and a payment order will not beconsidered as relevant proof. The applicant cannot claim an administrative fee to bereturned.

The application form must be honestly and entirely completed. The completed electronicapplication form must be printed and sent with personal data and applicants signatureand proof of payment to the study department !!!

It is not possible to submit 2 applications for 1 study programme. Untrue, incomplete or lateapplications will not be accepted.

Applicants should send their application for studies at university to the study departmentof the Faculty of Transportation Sciences in Prague.

It is necessary to indicate a study programme (following masters degree study)and a form of study (full-time) in the application form.

Applications submitted after 31st March 2012 will not be considered !!!

Masters degree study programmeTechnology and Technics of Transport and Communicationsfollowing the bachelors degree study programme

in the study field IS Intelligent Transport SystemsApplicants for a full-time study of the following masters degree should indicatethe study field IS Intelligent Transport Systems in the application.

The students will be included into projects on the basis of a chosen project, which they writein the application for studies and which is written in the documents for entrance proceduresaccording to written order of the Faculty, within projects entrance procedure accordingto their own project choice preferences. Students are included into study fieldsand projects from the 1st year of study.

In the following masters degree the tuition is only held in the full-time studyform. It isnecessary to include the entry Study form and Previous study at university in

the application for the university studies.

Masters degree study programmeTechnology and Technics of Transport and Communicationsfollowing the bachelors degree study programmein the study field IS Intelligent Transport SystemsThe condition for applicants, who successfully completed bachelors degreeat a foreign university or at an university in the Czech Republic in a study programme orin a study field taught in English for acceptance into a masters degree study programmefollowing bachelors programme is completion of bachelors degree study (by passingstate final examination) providing knowledge that meets required profile of an applicantand corresponding to the fundaments in mathematics, physics and technologicalcourses which corresponds to the bachelors study programmes of transportation,technological or informatics specializations. These applicants will not take a writtenacceptance test.

The study field of masters study programme IS Intelligent Transport Systems is

available only in English, the applicant should indicate language in the application.Study in English is free for the students registered in the study of the fieldIS Intelligent Transport systems.

Simultaneously with the application for the study the applicants for the fieldof IS Intelligent Transport Systems, who successfully completed bachelors degreeat a foreign university or at an university in the Czech Republic in a study programme orin a study field taught in English, will submit the following documents at the studydepartment in Prague:

verified copy of the diploma from the university at which they completed theirbachelors degree study programme, applicants with other than Czech or Slovak

Republic citizenship will submit nostrification of the diploma from the universitywhere they have completed their bachelors study

record of grades in all completed courses confirmed by a university (stamp andofficial signature)

document that proves command of English (one of the following options): citizenship of a state with official language English successfully completed study of English certificate within previous university studies

(it is not necessary to take the entire study in English) international certificate Cambridge English: FCE (First Certificate in English) international certificate Cambridge English: CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) international certificate Cambridge English: CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) international certificate City & Guilds: ESOL (English for Speakers of Other

Languages) international certificate IELTS (International English Language Testing System) international certificate TELC (The European Language Certificates) TOEFL (Test Of English as Foreign Language)

If an applicant does not submit together with his application for study all necessarydocuments for acceptance, it is assumed he is not interested in the study at the Faculty.

A student registers in the study field IS Intelligent Transport Systems at a projectentrance procedure, which all the applicants will take compulsorily part in accordingto the Facultys written instruction that they get in a registered letter by the endof May 2013 at the latest.

If an applicant does not submit by the set term all necessary documents for a projectentrance procedure it is assumed that he is not interested in the study at the Faculty.

For the academic year 2013 2014 all applicants for the full-time study of the mastersdegree in the study field IS Intelligent Transport Systems will be accepted providing they fulfil all the conditions of acceptance.

Joint-degrees in the study field IS Intelligent Transport Systems:

Tuition of 500,- per semester of study ( 2.000,- in total for the whole degree study)is for students who study in the field IS Intelligent Transport Systems in English(according to 47a of the Act) and in collaboration with a foreign university(Linkpings universitet in Sweden and UAS Fachhochschule Technikum Wien in Austria),where a study programme of related content is carried out. The graduates from sucha type of study in a study programme that is completed within the collaboration of a foreign

university will obtain an academic degree engineer (in abbreviation Ing. written beforethe name) according to 46 paragraph 4 of the Act and also an academic degree fromthe foreign university according to legislation in the relevant country. The collaboratingforeign university is stated in the university diploma of CTU in Czech and English.The specification of the fee payment and the study conditions will be set in the agreementbetween the CTU in Prague Faculty of Transportation Sciences and a student.

The accepted students can ask for a registration into the joint-degrees studyof the field IS Intelligent Transport Systems by 31st December 2013. To be registeredinto the joint-degrees study a student has to complete all 60 credits for all coursesof the first year according to the Recommended Time Schedule of the Study of the studyfield IS Intelligent Transport Systems.

The collaborating universities Linkpings universitet (Sweden) and UAS FachhochschuleTechnikum Wien (Austria) assume the right not to accept applicantfor the joint-degrees study. The CTU in Prague Faculty of TransportationSciences does not take any responsibility for the decision of collaborating universities.

Decision of acceptance and registration into study

According to 51, article 1 of The Higher Education Act No. 111/1998 and the amendmentof other acts (hereafter Act), right for enrolment is granted to applicant by notification ondecision of acceptance. The faculty will inform accepted applicants of the enrolmentdate and time along with the decision of acceptance into studies. The Faculty whensetting the maximum number of accepted applicants for a relevant academic year plansfor current tuition capacity and also for the fact that some percentage of accepted applicantswill not register into the study. The applicant becomes student on the dayof enrolment ( 61, article 1 of the Act).

The Decision of Acceptance will be delivered to the applicant in writing and the listof the accepted and not accepted applicants will be published on the official notice boardas well as on the Facultys website.

Applicant may request revision of the decision within 30 days starting on the day when hereceives his admission results.

Final provisions

This admission procedure announcement containing conditions of acceptance into studieswill be published on the official notice board of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences

and on the website of the CTU in Prague Faculty of Transportation Sciences(http://www.fd.cvut.cz) by 30th November 2012.

Wording of the admission procedure announcement for the academic year 2013 2014 andpublication of acceptance conditions into studies at the CTU in Prague Facultyof Transportation Sciences was approved according to 27, article e) of the Actand Article 4, paragraph 3 of the CTUs Admission Procedure Regulation by the AcademicSenate of the CTU in Prague Faculty of Transportation Sciences during its sessionon 14th November 2012.
