It contains a proprietary blend of enzymes, inorganic nitrogen, organic nitrogen, and trace minerals to provide yeast with the correct nutrient balance for growth and reproduction. CHARACTERISTICS Contributes higher levels of sterols and unsaturated fatty acids. (Important cell wall components) • Increases yeast budding Maintains yeast in their rapid growth phase through more of the fermentation. • Higher concentrations of more actively growing yeast: • Produce ethanol faster • Consume sugars more efficiently • Leave less residual sugar at the end of fermentation • Produce more consistent fermentations with less variation No adverse effects on co-products. • May improve consistency and composition by reducing residual sugars • AYF 1000™ is a coarse brown powder containing enzymes, inorganic nitrogen, organic nitrogen, and trace minerals • Color may vary per batch, but in no way affects the performance of the product AYF 1000™ nutrient is used to enhance yeast health. AYF 1000™ is intended for use in ethanol fermentations. This product contains urea and is not intended for use in beverage alcohol production. In Propagation: • Increased yeast budding • More effective propagation • Higher cell concentration, same prop time • Same cell concentration, shorter time In Fermentor: • Extended budding period • More consistent fermentation AYF 1000™ can be added to the propagator, to the fermentor at start of fill, or part way through the fermentation when yeast budding begins to decline. Use 12 g per hectoliter of mash (1 lb per 1,000 U.S. gal).
