Oceaneerings Hard Line Cutter is a hydraulically-actuated manipulator-

deployed tool designed to cut through wire rope to 1-in thick. It consists

of a hardened tool steel blade and side plates, a hydraulic cylinder, and

a T-handle. The blade is attached to the cylinder ram between the side

plates. One side of each of the plates is open to allow the cutter to be

placed on the rope. When the cylinder is extended, the blade acts as a

guillotine, severing the rope between the blade and the side plates. The

cylinder is then retracted to allow for the next cut.

The Alignment Frame mounts to the front of an ROV and provides an

ROV docking interface. Once docked, the ROV is rigidly attached to

the subsea structure. The frame locks onto the tree via two 3-ton rated

    docking probes.

The docking probes are hydraulically-actuated and are fail-safe. If ROV

power is lost, the latch dogs will retract under spring load and the ROV

will disconnect from the tree. The frame is designed to interface with the

3-ton docking receptacle interface utilizing a customer specied distance

Oceaneering has designed and built a range of Duplex Pumps. These

pumps are based upon a reciprocating piston intensier with xed

    displacement.

Hydraulically powered by the host ROV, the pumps are available in two

sizes, the 15 hp Series and the 50 hp Series, with a wide range of pressure

    ratios available in each series.

These pumps are the basis for multiple tooling applications, including subsea hydrotesting, hydrate remediation, and general

uid intervention. These pumps are not compatible with methanol.

For methanol-compatible pumping, use the Duplex Plunger Pump.

The Methanol Injection Skid is mounted beneath the ROV and supplies

32 or 64 gallons of uid for methanol injection. The skid consists of an

aluminum frame, two or four uid reservoirs, and a hydraulic pump for

    discharging the methanol uid.

The methanol is contained in two or four sixteen-gallon uid reservoirs,

which are compensated to external pressure. The reservoir uid contained

in the injection skid is isolated from the ROVs hydraulic system.

Since methanol is not injected at high pressures, the skid uses a low-
