Our Impact: Safety, Shelter and Sustainability

Today, along with colleagues and associates, donors and volunteers we are doing our part to provide safety, shelter and sustainability for orphans.

OurOur mission is making an impact in ways we never imagined. Our partners are U.S. based international nonprofits and we’re helping them raise funds and awareness for building projects that will better serve orphans in their care. One day, we hope to make an impact in 200 Orphanages around the world. One step at a time, we’re making a difference.

WWe’re inspiring others to help where and when they can, knowing we can’t do it all, but we can all do something. Together we’ve raisied funds to build orphan homes, provide clean water wells, constructed security walls and agricultural and livestock shelters, all so that one more orphan can have a safe place to call home.

We are an all volunteer organization. We rely on individual donations and all contributions go directly to building projects that make an difference in the life of an orphan. Building safe shelter for orphans is our mission because we believe every orphan deserves a safe place to call home.

Building Futures.

Home Cooked Meals

Our partner in Rwanda, Nibakure ChildrenOur partner in Rwanda, Nibakure Children’s Village, provides daily home cooked meals for the children because of the outdoor kitchen your funds built. It may not seem like much, but to the children, it’s priceless. Too many children don’t know where their next meal will come from. Each day, in spite of the loss of parents and family, our partners make sure the orphans are given loving care, healthy meals all served up with love and and a sense of security. You’re donations lay the foundation on which orphans can have a happy and productive life. That’s the difference you are making. are making.

Our Volunteers and Supporters

OurOur supporters, donors and volunteers mobilize friends, family and colleagues to help an orphan have safe shelter. Some have organized or participated in fitness treks, golf tournaments, art auctions and 5ks. Our fund raising efforts are paid for by sponsors so that what is raised can be used for the project. Most of these efforts raise small amounts, but it is amazing what a small amount can do for an orphan who has nothing in a developing country.

UnderwritersUnderwriters to our partner projects have a heart to give and know they are making a direct impact in the lives of orphans. By contributing to a builidng project, they are leaving a legacy that provides safe shelter for brighter futures for years to come. There is no better return on investments today.

We can’t do it all, but we can all do something.

Board Members

200 Orphanages Worldwide was organized in 2007. The founders, Jan Hanson, Jesse Bowman and Fred Cornforth, each put their desire to build better futures for orphans into action. Both Fred and Jessie are advisory members. We are all volunteers with a passion to make a difference in the lives of orphans. We can’t do it all, but we can all do something. can’t do it all, but we can all do something.
