A separate competitive examination centre is in place. This centre provides training and coaching for UPSC/MPSC/IBPS examinations.
Till date about 100 PSI and more than 25 Class – I and class – II gazetted officers working in government & corporate offices.
Similarly more than 2500 students of this centre working in Banks, Insurance companies and other Public Sector undertakings.

Teachers have designed own curricula for COC courses funded by UGC.
Remedial coaching is provided for slow learners. Teachers use internet and LCD projectors for the interactive ICT teaching. Internet access facility is available for the students and teachers in all science
departments, library and Psychology department also. Seminars, group discussion, unit tests are conducted and assignments issued to the
students. Projects are assigned to the students and guidance is provided by the respective teachers. Students are motivated to take part in inter college competitions. College time-table committee prepares a master time-table for theory and practical so as
to ensure maximum utilization of college infrastructure. Educational and industrial tours are organized in order to update the students to the
current trends in the respective subjects.

College has a special Examination Committee which brings transparency in conduction and evaluation of examinations.
This committee works as an Internal Vigilance Squad during University exams to ensure fear free exams for the students.
This committee prepares a time-table for internal examinations. Internal evaluation of science faculty students is done by written tests & practical test. Internal evaluation of Commerce faculty students is done by oral tests & seminars. Internal evaluation of Arts faculty students is done by projects & seminars. Preliminary examination is carried out for practical. College provides photocopy of assessed answer books on demand by students for the first
year students in order to have transparency in assessment. On request by examinee revaluation of answer books are carried out. Seminars and
projects undertaken for second and third year students. A special coaching arrangement is made for competitive examinations. Project work is compulsory for Environment Studies for all second year UG courses. Field tours are organized for Environment Studies to create awareness about
environment. All the teachers actively take part in the confidential internal and University Exam work
such as paper setting, assessment, moderation, revaluation, senior supervisoion & junior supervision etc.
All the science teachers also work as examiners, experts and lab supervisors during practical examinations.
The college Research Committee –
Motivates the teachers to undertake Minor/Major Research Projects.
Encourages all the recognized research guides to work as supervisors for M.Phil. & Ph.D. degrees.
College deputes teachers for participation and presentation of research papers at International and National conferences and also encourages teachers to work as resource persons, chairpersons in events organized by other institutes for which teachers avail duty leaves.
Encourages the students to participate in “Avishkar”- an University Level Research Competition.

In the beginning of every academic year the IQAC constitutes various committees to ensure effective working of the college.
All the heads of the committees and the departments conduct regular meetings with the members to undertake different programs.
Teaching and non-teaching staff are recruited as per the UGC and the State Government policies.
Immediate requirement of teaching staff is fulfilled through temporary appointment on contract Basis.
Immediate requirement of Administrative Staff to be recruited on daily wages. The faculty and staff required for self financing courses are recruited by a selection
committee constituted by the college.
The Training and Placement Cell also organizes campus interviews by MNCs.
Industry visits are organized by the college.
Library has OPAC software along with three OPAC terminals specially kept reserved for this facility.
The working hours of library are: 07:00 am to 06:00 pm. The library committee ensures that the suggestions and demands of students and staff
are fulfilled in time. Some Science and Professional departments have separate department libraries. Back up is provided to office and to all computer labs. We have two 10 KVA, three 5 KVA, four 2 KVA UPS (back up units). We have about
150 batteries in our campus and AMC of these batteries and UPS systems is maintained by, ‘Renutron Power Solutions’ – a private vendor and manufacturer of UPS.
In addition to this our college has 45 KVA Diesel Genset to back almost all class rooms and all science laboratories.
The college has a conference hall with PA system and LCD projector. All the Science departments have well equipped laboratories and new instruments are
purchased whenever funds are available from the management, UGC and other funding agencies.
Canteen is available in the campus for staff and students.

Smt. Chaitra Rajdnya conducted a session on Career Counselling for final year students.
The college conducts Parent-Teacher meeting. The students’ performance is brought to notice to the parents. The teachers from the respective departments discuss the overall performance of the students in the university exams. The problems and suggestions from parents are taken into consideration.
The management and The Principal motivate the support staff to upgrade their educational qualifications while performing the duties.
As and when the supporting staff improves their qualifications, the management gives promotion.
The college has maintained a botanical garden. The paving blocks are fitted in the campus to reduce the dust. The dust bins are provided at various places in the campus. The garbage/waste so collected is used to produce compost manure. The compost manure so produced is used in botanical garden. The environment department creates awareness amongst the students to reduce the use
of plastics. Regular cleanliness of the campus.
DST - INSPIRE Science Camp was organized on 21 – 24 January 2014 to inculcate the research attitude amongst the students. Eight invited talks by renowned professors from various fields were organized.
Demonstration of ‘Aeromodeling ‘ by students of Areonautical Engineering IIT, Mumbai.
150 selected students from four nearby districts were benefited from this camp.
