An Interview By Al JazeeraShaykh Muhammad Nazim Al-Haqqani An-Naqshibandi, Sohbat of the 17th of June, 2013.

G: How are you Mawlana?

M: Well, very well, wellness is from Allah.

G: How is your health?

M: Alhamdulillah thanks to Allah & I thank Him, at this age Alhamdulillah, my mind workssometimes. Alhamdulillah! People come to visit me. Maybe our community thinks that theShaykh is coming from Heavens, that is why they rush on me. Women are lacking in mind, andthe men became even less than the women. Welcome to you. You are from Algeria?

G: Yes from Algeria.

M: They are real men. Barbarossa Khairuddin Pasha, how many times Andrea Doria you know,the admiral of Spain, he kicked him out. The whole Mediterranean sea was the lake for theMuslim people. Islam Subhan Allah! And now I became like this. Welcome to you.

G: May Allah give you long life. Shaykh Mawlana how do you see the situation of the Muslims?

M: It is always high up! Haqq is the highest and nothing can be higher! If there were sevenworlds, seven times this world we are still the victorious ones. These worst of unbelievers they are

envious and want to erase Islam and bring their cross. But Haqq is the highest and nothing canbe higher! Bismillahi r-Rahman r-Rahim, Bismillahi r-Rahman r-Rahim, Bismillahi r-Rahmanr-Rahim! Allah sent Bismillahi r-Rahman r-Rahim. All the power is in Bismillahi r-Rahman r-Rahim. I am sorry to say that the Muslim world left saying, Bismillahi r-Rahman r-Rahim. Haqqis the highest. If there were 7x this world, Islam would still be the highest! We are proud and we

are thankful to our Lord for being created Muslims. You have light on your face.

G: You are the light, O Shaykh.

M. Maybe one of your ancestors was from the lineage of Barbarossa

G: Mawlana, how is the situation of the Muslims in Cyprus?

M: They eat & drink and play. They are not busy with anything else, they are pleased & happy.

G: They don't have a target in life? Why did the Cypriot people leave Islam?

M: Because our leaders left Islam since the time of Mustafa Kamal. They obliged them to leaveIslam & brought the secular people. This brought a big affliction on the Ottomans. We areOttomans. Ottoman. The Ottoman men, Ottoman food, baklawa - It suits his honourable

mouth.

G: Baklawa, all baklawa!

M. The believer is sweet and likes sweets. This is a sign of faith - that he is big, he can eat fromleft & right. We have power there is no fear.

G: Insha'Allah, May Islam come back to Cyprus?

M: When the Arabs come back to Islam, we will also. The Arabs are our masters. Before we usedto get blessings from the Arabs. When we saw them we would offer everything to honour them,because they are from the Prophet's lineage, to the last of Sharif. They exiled him. The Europeandevils they betrayed the Sharif and he went against the Khalifa & once he left the Khalifa therewas no more Khalifa for them nor a Sultan. But he will come. A Sultan will come & we are nothopeless. Even if here we are just a handful of Muslims. Just for the name (Muslims) we areproud. Alhamdulillah, this is from the favours of our Lord. We never loose hope. That is not forus. And the time is near to raise the banners of the Prophet, Salawat Allah wa Salam Aleyhi. Andnow the Arabs are gathering, waiting, "where, where, where is our Sultan? Where is ourKhalifa?" But many are heedless. We need to raise our voices, saying, "Where is our Khalifa?"With no Khalifa they have no power or value. And they (unbelievers) are the head, and we arethe tail. We are waiting for them to stand for the name of the Prophet (asws). So we may followthem.

Sayyid, the movement started. It started, but the world of unbelief says, "We will not leave once

more the space for Islam to stand up." They say this. Dirt on them! You understand, I'minsulting them. Alhamdulillah the Arabs started meeting and ask for the Sahib. He will come,Sahib Az Zaman, who will gather the Arabs & all the Muslims. This is what the worst ofunbelievers fear. You should not fear. Masha'Allah, light on his face.

M: They have a Sultan and this one, they have power. Welcome to you. "Bashiru wa laTunaffiru" (Hadith) "give people good tidings & don't exasperate them".

S.N.: Sayyid is asking: Many of the Muslims do not understand the reality of Tariqa, what is itssoul?

M: The soul of the Tariqa. Tariqa is the way to Heavens and it trains the Muslim to the ways ofParadise. According to the different names, in the different languages & nations, otherwise we areall saying, La Ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadar Rasulullah. We are proud, the people of theHeavens & of the earths, are proud of the Beloved of Allah Salla Allahu 'Aleyhi wa Sallam. TheBanner of the Prophet can never be down, only up! The Prophet of Allah, his Banner is raised on

the Throne! Be proud and do not fear, do not fear. You are like lions.Now it is like this. There is no one to guide them to the reality of Islam. The Tariqas are likeschools, they teach people. They teach people Islam & its practice. There is no more, no more.No more. These scholars, "the scholars of my nation are like Prophets previously sent." (Hadith)

Where are these scholars? "Innam Yakhsh Allha Min `Ibdihi Al-`Ulam'u" (35:28) If youlook at the face of the people of knowledge, the whole world trembles. There are no more of

these scholars "Innam

dihi Al-`Ulam

'u" (35:28) there are none. Theysay they are "Doctors". What is this "doctor"? Say this is a scholar from those mentioned:

"Innam Yakhsh Allha Min`Ibdihi Al-`Ulam'u" (35:28)

This brother is he from the tribe Siba'iyun?

S.N.: He does not know.

M: Siba'yun are from the lineage of the Prophet that were in Morocco. Siba'yi, sab'/lion.

S.N.: Sayyid is asking, do you hope that the Muslim scholars come here to Cyprus so they maycall people to Islam?

M. How many people are we in Cyprus? "L Yukallifu Allhu Nafsan 'Ill Wus`ah" (2:286)

According to our ability we have enough. But they are responsible. "Wa Qifhum 'Innahum

Mas'lna" (37:24) They are our masters. On Judgment Day this verse is for them - "and stop

them for they must be questioned" (37:24) We are just a handful of people here in Cyprus. Butthey are the original siba'iyun/lions in Morocco. They are all Ahl Al Bayt, they are lions. We kissnot only his hand but his feet. Look at his nose, this is a sign that he is a descendant of theProphet. And his face is like the full moon.

Welcome to you. Forgive me. Pardon me, I became weak. I am weak. I beg my Lord to havemercy on me for the sake of His Great Prophet (saws). That the banner of Islam may be raised.Alhamdulillah they started, the Muslims, to gather their flags, the Muslim flags. Against theMuslims, are the worst of unbelievers - that dan dun, dun dan, dun dun, din don (bell ringing).

Are we cattle? What is this? They do not say One. They say three. Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala.

This is your home, your home whenever you like come. My love goes to the Kings & Sultans, myrespects to the King.

G: I will inform them.

M. Coming from the lineage of the Prophet we have love, deep love, mawadda, for the Arabs.But they obliged us to be on bad terms with each other.

G: Insha'Allah the mawadda will return.

M: Whenever you like, you're welcome. Masha'Allah your face is enlightened.

G: You are all the light, O Shaykh.

M. I took the good tidings that all the Kings & our Princes met/gathered against the worst ofunbelievers, those that have no religion nor faith.

He is from the family of the Prophet, let him read on me.
