    CALL FOR PAPERSDEADLINE:NOVEMBER 11,2011

    The Third Annual Special Issue and Symposium for the Review of Intellectual Property Law(RIPL) is to take place on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

    It is an honor for RIPL to invite the worlds practitioners and scholars in the field of intellectualproperty to write and present on the general theme of Intellectual Property Law of China and

    the United States and subthemes that cover the implementation of the new Chinese patent,copyright and trademark laws and theoretical or practical aspects of the cooperation of the IPlaws of the United States and China.

    The Special Issue and Symposium aims to gather professionals and scholars from manydisciplines, including IP, international law, international business, ethics, and economic theory.The symposium will bring together an inspiring group of individuals to publish their writings inour journal in Spring 2012 and present their works at the symposium on April 19, 2012.

    RIPL is pleased to extend an invitation to you to propose a paper on any topic encompassed bythe theme of, Intellectual Property Law of China and the United States.

    Proposals are due by November 11, 2011, submitted to the Symposium Editor, Felisa Leisingervia email: [email protected]. If your proposal is selected, your work will be published inRIPLs Spring 2012 issue and you will present your work at the symposium on April 19, 2012.

    Submission Guidelines

    Proposals are due November 11, 2011Preference will be given to more fully developed proposals.If your proposal is selected, the completed submission will be due January 20, 2012 to be

    included in the Third Annual Special Issue. Additionally, you will be invited to speak atthe corresponding Symposium on April 19, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois at The JohnMarshall Law School.

    Original Works

    Submissions that have been previously published will not be considered for inclusion inthe RIPL Special Issue or Symposium.

    FormatPlease submit written works in a Word or text file. Submissions should be double-spaced,font size 12 points.

    LengthClear, concise, and well-organized papers of any length may be submitted.

    RIPL articles are typically around 25 pages.
