    CourseDescription

    Human-computerinteraction(HCI)isafieldofstudyconcernedwiththedesign,evaluationand

    implementationofinteractivecomputingsystemsforhumanuseandwiththestudyofmajor

    phenomenasurroundingthem.Thiscoursesurveysthescopeofissuesandfoundationsofthe

    HCIfield:cognitivepsychology,humanfactors,interactionstyles,useranalysis,taskanalysis,

    interactiondesignmethodsandtechniques,andevaluation.Thiscoursewillfocusontheusers

    andtheirtasks.
