Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL), a Schedule A PSU under the Ministry of Railways for fast trackexecution of rail projects, requires the services of experienced Engineering Degree/DiplomaHolders (freshers can also apply) for engagement in Civil / Electrical / Signal Engineeringdepartments of RVNL on contract basis for its project located at various places in Odisha: -

Name of the Post Qualification & ExperienceSite Engineer(Civil / Electrical /Signals)

B.E (Civil/ Electrical/ Electronics) having working experience of one year postqualification (Freshers can also apply)

Jr Site Engineer(Civil / Electrical /Signals)

Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Electronics having working experience of one yearpost qualification (Freshers can also apply)

Note : Preference will be given to candidates having experience of Railway works.

Emoluments : The monthly remmuneration of Site Engineer and Jr Site Engineer will be around Rs27000 and 21000 respectively plus few other perks. Candidates having relevent Rly expereience canbe considered for higher emoluments.

Place of Posting : Site Engineer and Jr. Site Engineer will be posted in field at any of the followinglocations or at any other places as per RVNLs requirements

Haridaspur, Kendrapara, Paradeep, Keonjhar, Jajpur Road, Harichandanpur, Angul, Sukinda,Titlagarh, Sambalpur, Bhubaneshwar etc

Mode of Application:

The candidates are required to fill up forms online on the RVNL web site (www.rvnl.org).Please see the relevent page under Oppurtunity / Careers.

Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully while filling up the form online toavoid errors/rejection.

The online facility will be open for a specified period/time (00.01 hrs of 03.05.12 to 23.59 hr of12.05.12). Willing candidates must fill up the form within the specified period/time.

No application beyond or before the specified period will be accepted. Candidates are requested to fill up the form online first and then take a printout of the same

which should be sent by registered/courier mail to the following address -

Applications on paper without filling online application will also be not accepted.Mode of selection: Mere applying for a post or possessing minimum qualification is no guarantee forinterview call. The RVNL Administration will decide shortlisting of candidates for interview which will bepuerly based on the academic merit of the candidates. However, candidates having Raillway relatedconstruction experience will be given preference.

Date/Time/Place of Interview: The interview of only shortlisted candidates will be held atBhubaneshwar. The date/time/place will be notified to the shortlisted candidates through SMS/E-Mail.List of shorlisted candidates and their interview schedule will also be available on the RVNL website.Shortlisted candidates should report on time as per the schedule along with their original testemonialsin support of the informations given in the application form.

Candidates should also note that their candidature is liable to be rejected at any point of time inevent of failure to produce documentary proof in support of the information mentioned in their

application form or in the event of any discrepency found at any stage of verification.
