SHARK The American International School of Rotterdam From the Interim Director and Elementary Principal The time has finally arrived – the students accompanied by Dr. Markham and Ms. Heinonen will leave for Norway this Sunday! I was informed this morning that the CanSat is working! We are very proud to support our students and staff with this project and we wish them “Good Luck” with their next week. As I said in the last Shark, we are the only school representing The Netherlands so it really is a special achievement for AISR. http://flyingdutchcan.org/ The students in Grade 7, accompanied by Mr. Temminck will leave for Friesland on Monday to spend a couple of days participating in various projects with a local Dutch school. We are very excited about the up-coming Elementary Book Carnival, which will take place in May. Further details about this exciting after-school event will be sent out by Ms. Van Ringelesteijn on Monday, May 23. Don’t forget that next Wednesday, April 25 is a half-day. All students will go home at 11:30. Have a lovely weekend. Sincerely, Anne-Marie Blitz [email protected] 1/2 Bulletin... 20.04.12 A CanSat returning to Earth! The AISR CanSat Team.
