All Juniors are encouraged to join us for lunch and abrief presentation outlining this season’s Junior Golf Program.



Spring Clinics

Dates: Saturday May 12th, 19th, 26th, June 2nd - 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

For: All Junior Members ages 8 - 18

Cost: Complimentary

Instruction: Etiquette, Rules, Grip, Stance, Swing, Chipping, Putting

Instructors: Mike Silver, Tyler Vaillant and Rick Pero

Tiny Tots Program

Dates: Sunday May 27th, June 3rd, 10 th – 17th 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

For: Juniors ages 4-7 (One Parent per Child)

Cost: $60.00 + GST

Instruction: Basic Instruction, Cart Rides, Prizes, Treats for the Kids

Instructors: Tyler Vaillant, Rick Pero

Sign up: Professional Shop – Maximum 12 participants.

Note: Parents must drive carts with Child



ADVANCED JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM

For those Juniors who have taken lessons and/or are currently in competitivegolf or preparing to compete in Junior Golf Tournaments.

This program will provide Juniors with in-depth instruction, coursemanagement, tournament preparation, rules of golf, fitness for golf,discussion about the opportunities in the golf industry and much more.

The program will include time on the driving range, putting green, shortgame area and also on the golf course.

We are excited about this program and encourage our Juniors both boys and

girls to participate in order to improve their golf games and increase theirconfidence on and off the golf course.

The program will consist of 8 – 1.5 hour sessions. Total of 12 hours of instruction.

Dates: Thursdays May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, June 7th, June 14th, June 21st Time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

For: Junior Members Ages 12 – 18.

Cost: $199.99 + HST

Summer Junior School

Dates: July 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th (Tuesday – Friday)

Times: 9:00 am – 3:00 pmNote: Supervision from 8 – 9 am and 3 – 5 pm is available at $10 per day.

For: Junior Members and Guests (Ages 8 –16)

Cost:Full Day: $160.00 + HST (includes lunch & snacks daily plus special camp

gift)Half Day: $100 + HST ( 9:00 am – 12 Noon; lunch not included)

Juniors will be involved in golf instruction, etiquette and rules of golf awareness, plus other fun camp activities.

Highland Junior Invitational (Tyson Tour Event)

Date: Monday July 23rd

For: Any Juniors (Ages 12-18)

Cost: $40 (includes Lunch and Prizes)

Format: 18 Hole Stroke play event with 4 divisions (Bantams 12-13,Juveniles 14-16, Juniors 17-18, Girls)

Monday Morning Junior Program

Dates: Mondays from June 25th – August 27th

Exceptions - Monday July 23rd (Junior Amateur)- Monday July 30th (Highland Amateur)- Monday August 6th (In Club Best Ball)

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.Ages 12 – 18 off Front Nine

8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (adult supervision is required)

Ages 8 – 11 off Back Nine

Players must sign up in advance outside pro shop. Please sign up orcall pro shop by 5:00 pm Sunday. Draw will be made for nextmorning at that time.

Cost: Free

Format: FedEx Cup Format. Quota Points each week. 4 different divisionsbased on age. Accumulated total throughout the year. Top 3 in each divisionwin prizes at the end of the year.

Prizes: Year end prizes, weekly prizes

Dates: Saturday August 18th and Sunday August 19th

Time: Saturday – 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Sunday – 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Format: Two Day Medal Play Championship

Divisions: 5 divisions (Pre-Junior 8 – 11, Bantam 12-13, Juvenile 14-16,Junior 17-18, Girls)

For: All Junior & Pre Junior Members ( adult supervision required for PreJuniors)

Cost: Free

Prizes: Dinner and Awards following Sunday round (August 19th)

Junior Skills Competition

Friday July 20th

Lunch: 12 Noon

On Range 1:00 PM

Open to all Junior Members 12 – 18 Years of age.

Sign up outside Pro Shop.

Jr – Sr Competition

Sunday August 12th 2:00 PM

Open to all Junior Members age 12 – 18 and all Adult Members

Format:

- Blind Draw- One Junior/ One Senior- 75% of handicap- Best ball format- Light Dinner to follow golf.

Dress Code:

Golf shirts with collars. Knee length shorts with sockettes no higher than theankle. Golf hats must be worn with the peak forward and all shirts must betucked in. No tube tops, halters tops, jeans, cut offs or sweatshirts with largeno-golf related logos will be allowed. The dress code is strictly enforced.Girls may wear knee length shorts, sleeveless shirts with a collar or sleevedshirts with no collar. Short shorts are not allowed.

Metal spikes are prohibited.
