The band has appeared in films and at performances in Atlantic City. Famous for featuring one or more jazz greats from the swing era, the current band features Sol Yaged, who remains one of the finest clarinet players in the country, having played with Benny Goodman, Harry James, and Louis Armstrong, to name a few. Steve Little (drums) comes from the Duke Ellington Band, and pianist Herb Gardner comes from the Eddie Condon Band. Linda Ipanema is the guest vocalist.
