ature, take a closer look. The concept is inspired by the natural structure and design that is revealed in nature. After researching numerous nature images, the ones that stood out the most were close up images of wildflowers, leaves and insects. Their color and patterns were awe-inspiring.

During the creative process, it became apparent that it was exciting to produce abstract patterns instead of literal interpretations. After realizing this, the first step of the design was to closely examine one section of the structure, which this became the element. The next step was to create a unit, which was done by duplicating it three more times and quarter-turning them. Last of all, the patterns needed to be rendered. Naturally the color combination of the butterflies and moths were the inspiration.
