General Information on our Nozzles:Water Level Dependencies Throughout the nozzle section of the catalog, you will see reference to either Water level dependent or Not water level dependent. Different water level dependent nozzles requite the nozzle to be fully submerged in order to produce the desired effect. This type of nozzle uses fountain basin water as well as the water from the supply line to create the effect. The effect for a water level independent is produced solely by the supply water line and its water level placement in the basin is less critical. Constant Flow versus Programmable A constant flow nozzle is on at all times in one running position. Programmable nozzles can work at varying heights and produce exciting effects of "on" and "off". This is produced using a control panel and is part of a more complex systems approach. Spread: The measured spread on a spray jet includes the splash zone of the nozzle. This measurement is intended to be used when determining the position of a nozzle in relation to the pool edge. Standard Threading: Standard threading on components shall be National Pipe Thread (NPT) unless requested otherwise at the time of order. All thread sizes less than 1 will be NPT. British Standard Pipe Thread (BSP) is available upon request. Engineering: At Crystal Fountains Inc., we are dedicated to engineering accuracy and stand behind our products. The spray jets manufactured by our company have been tested using calibrated instrumentation for flow rate and pressure head at the facilities of the Canadian Hydraulics Centre under the auspices of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC).

SIMPLE INTERACTIVE DECK JETS

Non-Sequencing /Constant FlowWhile choreographed water features can be exciting, similar effects can be achieved using non-sequenced nozzles. These constant flow nozzles don't require computer controls, simply turn the pump "on" and the fountain is in operation!

Fountains designed for public play require certain design features: Flush mounted (no trip hazards) Deck-friendly (no toe entrapment) Play-safe (soft water) Some smaller nozzles require lower GPM and can be supplied by municipal water supplies.
