Welcome to the inaugural BullsEye Clear Vision Event. We are celebrating the beginning of what will be known as the “Great Rebuilding Era of Beef Production in the United States”. From 2011 to 2012 the nation lost almost one million head and Oklahoma lost 288,000 beef cows according to USDA-NASS. There also seems to be a passing of the torch as many cattlemen are choosing to retire from their cow calf operation. Now is the time for young visionary cattlemen and women to find new and creative ways to produce beef in a cost effective manner. They will need to identify and propagate the genetics that will help them manage their input cost and to meet their customers’ expectation. The greatest profits will be taken by the cattlemen that make the best use of the tools available. Like using visual inspection plus DNA testing and EPD’s to identify the desirable genetic traits will minimize unexpected genetic results. As well as using artificial insemination with female sexed semen from bulls with good maternal traits will greatly expedite the cow herd expansion with quality genetics. Another tool you can use to increasing conception to the artificial insemination and minimizing labor requirements is our BullsEye Heat Detection System that can be used with or without most synchronization protocols.

I believe it all starts with young cattlemen. Our cattle judging contest has two benefits for students, they learn how to evaluate cattle and it builds their self-confidence with a little practice. Our introduction to artificial insemination class is an educational opportunity for the novice student or the cattleman looking for basic information on tools available to use in their breeding program. Last but not least, our E-Sale is offering nationally recognized functional cattle that will work to rebuild the cow herd and beyond in an online sale format that will become more common in the future.

The online sale will be hosted by eLivestockActions.com. If you have not already registered with eLivestockAuctions.com you can go to their web site to register as a buyer any time before sale day. Buyers that are not registered by sale day need to register at the eLivestockAuctions.com booth at the sale facility. Videos of all sale cattle will be available for viewing April 12 and you can start bidding on April 19. Cattle in the sale will be available for viewing and delivery on April 21, 2012. There will be computers available the day of the sale for registering and bidding. Sale consultants will also be available to assist buyers.

BullsEye Clear Vision Condition of SaleTHE BULLSEYE CLEAR VISION E-SALE, sale order will be set the morning of the sale with the first lot will end at 1:30 with remaining lots ending one every minute. When time runs out the auction is over and the computer will decide the winning bid based on the highest amount confirmed by the computer before time expires. If there is a tie in the bidding amount the bid that was confirmed first will be the winner.

For example, if you bid $1,800 in the last second of the auction and another bidder has a $1,800 maximum bid in the bank. The bidder with $1,800 maximum bid in the bank wins. There are no buyers premiums in this auction and all bids are in U.S. Dollars.

INVOICING

At the end of the auction a buyers list will be posted at the live event and the bid winners will be notified by email. Buyers at the live event will payout at the clerk’s desk. Email invoicing with payment instructions will go out the following day to all other buyers. If you do not receive an email within 48 hours of the action close call 1-877-466-2855.

TRUCKING AND TRANSPORTATION

It is the responsibility of the buyers to coordinate the delivery and cover all cost. No Animals will be delivered until payment has been made unless prior arrangements have been made with the seller. All cattle must be removed from the Bristow School Grounds and Rodeo Arena by 4:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2012, unless prior arrangements have been made. We will assist buyers to the best of our ability in coordinating transportation with reputable truckers. Any cattle that delivery arrangements are not certain (or that the buyer would like to pick up at a later date) by Sunday at 4:00 PM, will be taken to D-M Beach Ranch located 3 ½ miles northwest of Bristow FFA Barn distribution or back to the consignor if the buyer so desires.

We guarantee the females listed as bred to be bred at the time of the sale but have no control past this point. We suggest you insure your purchases and/or the pregnancy.
