HMO Options are Changing!HMO Options are Changing!

• One HMO per county as opposed to multiple HMO providers.

• AvMed is the designated HMO for UNF area counties.

• United HealthCare participants need to actively select AvMed during open enrollment or will be defaulted into the State PPO Plan through BlueCross BlueShield.

• Any changes to this information will be communicated immediately.

• Medco will be the new pharmacy manager for both the PPO and HMO plans.

• PPO members will still be required to use mail order for maintenance prescriptions.

• Medco will send a letter with detailed information and new cards.

• Walgreens is NOT in-network with Medco.
